laptop safe pc games

So i got a bunch of time to kill with no net and a moderately new laptop. can you guys suggest any newer games I can play on this thing? I have and hp amd turion 64x2 2.0 with 4 gigs of ram but no dedicated video memory. Assassins creed was a big no no : ( it was down to a frame a minute lol

half life 2 and all its mods if you like first person shooters, they have anywhere from swat team, ww2, and the new mod called insurgency based off of the iraq war

other ones are fun like command and conquer series, world of warcraft, doom 3. your laptop should run these from the sounds of it. what kind of graphics card are you runnin?

^^ no dedicated graphics means no graphics cards. they claim like 512mb cards but they just use system memory and have no abilities like a real graphics card.

CS = best game ever made, but its online only

hl2 won't run any better on that either, maybe playable but not with any sort of nice graphics.

C&C games are fun, i used to play red alert 2 a lot

what kind of games do you want? fps, rts, driving, etc?
