Weekend / meals
Does anyone else's diet get F'ed on the weekends because of sleep ? During the week with work ill get in about 3 meals before lunch time (12:00pm). Now to use today for an example i went to bed last night semi early 11:30pm then slept until 11:30ish am the next day. Almost 12 hrs of straight sleep which is all find and dandy but i missed 3 meals already.

Happens all the time. The only real solution is sleeping less and that sounds dumb to me, just roll with it, eat a good meal sans carbs before bed, and have a shake beside your bed to drink at some point if you wake up if you are worried about it.

My diet always goes out the window on the weekends. I hate it, but not bad enough to start guzzling semen.

I drink a ton of water right now, so I get up to piss 2 to 4 times a night. I normally eat each time, and chug a bottle of water then.
One night I managed to eat 2lbs of beef jerky in the middle of the night.
I'd just make sandwiches and put them next to my bed, but my dog would eat them.

I have almost mastered the art of eating without truly waking up.

after that 12 hour sleep. Just carry on and eat like it never happened. dont worry about missing those meals. If you are extra hungry, then compensate and eat more. otherwise, just roll with it. YOur body will let you know.

Yeah on weekends I make up for it by eating larger meals, as long as the macro's end up similar it's all good.

people tend to ignore their genetics quite a bit. if your body wants sleep, let it sleep. if you were hungry your body would let you know. sometimes when i wake up on those long sleep days, i will just chug milk and then get back in bed. your body will let you know what it needs, and if it's sleep, then sleep. thats my take.
