    they tried to reenact that on Mythbusters

    and the amount of explosive material needed to make even a semi small wave is ridiculous

    that little stick they used wouldnt of done that.

    theres a better video somewhere... they showed it on mythbusters... but it was better lit. middle of the day and someone threw some explosive off a bridge and they surfed the wave also.

    they really got into on mythbusters too

    put the explosives at different depths in the water. with different amounts of explosives and different types of explosives to see what would produce the best wave

    best they got was a lil wave. like half of what was in the OP video
