I've asked myself the same question each and everytime i go to the factory here.
That's where i get my pins etc. from.
We already use so many vet products as bodybuilders... Still, the contamination stories which pop up in the media from time to time are discouraging to say the least.

a lot of times animal feeds get their protiens from strange places
stuff that would normally be chucked in the dumpster
lips and assholes of animals, cow brains, shit like that
pretty sure they stopped the cow brain thing in this country though due to mad cow
if you don't care and money and bigness is your #1 concern it's prolly fine
some of the vitamin content might be on the high side for humans
like for example B6, if you have way too much of that, not good for your nervous system...just try to make sure all the vitamins are within fairly normal doses

If I found a tin of dog food that was cheaper than a tin of tuna but had a higher protein content, would I buy that can of dog food?

Well think of it. If they are selling an item for 62 cent. Where is everyone cuts going?? The shop, wants money from it, the making of the can, label the people that work there etc. So the contents will hardly be of any good really.
