True.........
Here is the official press release from the Tampa Tribune today:
Andrew "Test" Martin, a former world champion wrestler, was found dead in his Harbour Place apartment last night, according to Tampa Police.
Police say at this time there is no indication of foul play.
At about 8 p.m., police responded to the Post Harbour Apartments, 725 Harbour Place Drive, to check on Martin, according to a media release. A neighbor reported that she could see into his apartment through a window and that Martin appeared motionless for several hours.
Officers entered the apartment and found Martin dead. He was transported to the Medical Examiners Office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The date of the autopsy is undetermined at this time.

There are like thousands wrestlers and former ones.
A few are going to die each year and from time to time, one will get arrested, or do somthing stupid.
The sad part is, "that" reflects on us or our life styles of training to be more, to be a better person, to be healthy. Yah, maybe we do use some things that are illegal, but our life styles are not that of these guys messing up.
There are wrestlers who have their stuff together, that are smart, that make a living off it and don't have to take it to the point they are popping pain killers like crazy.
Take Mad Dog from Bigger Faster Stronger for example, great guy...but he had issues. It reflects badly on everyone else. For ever Mad Dog, there are thousands of healthy meat heads that live good lives.
Working out is good for self discipline, life and goal accomplishment, not to mention self esteem.

damn. i do think theres a correlation between the early death and juice. only because they do so much damn cardio all day their hearts are probably jacked. lots of juice +intense physical activity all day = enlarged heart = lvh = heart attack.

Whoa, Test is dead?? I remember seeing him only last year on WWE. The guy was ****ing huge.
I'm starting to think that its the WWE schedule that is partly to blame. I mean these guys aren't wrestling just once a week on Raw and Smackdown, they are doing house shows 6 days a week. You imagine how many bumps they are taking, on top of eating, travelling and working out all the time. Christ knows how many pain killers some of these dudes are on as well.

I think that the "lack of" cardio is actualy more the culprit vs. too much.
Cardio, so far as I know does not cause lvh the same way heavy resistance training alone can do.
With the heavy weights, the left ventricle gets thicker, but the chamber inside is smaller, thus the heart having to do more work.
When cardio is added, in optimal amounts, the chamber on the inside of the left ventricle stays open, and can even get wider, allowing the heart to work easier.
