    Girls and Carbs

    Why do they like em' so freakin much?

    Ok so I go out with this girl I've been dating for awhile last night. I get to her place around 8. She's in pretty good shape and ran Cross Country in college. She's not super thin but nobody would call her fat. We were gonna go out and drink and have some fun. When I get there she's eating a Dairy Queen blizard. I asked her if she already ate, and she said yeah she had some crackers with peanut-butter when she got home from work...WTF crackers and ice cream for your big meal of the day.

    When I go out to eat with girls, I'm like if you could have anything you wanted to eat, what type of food would you want. They almost always answer italian food or pasta (one in the same really cause they order pasta at the italian rest).

    They almost always eat some sugary desert. If we have drinks I'll drink beer or something. They'll have some sugar explosion creation that gives me diabetes to look at.

    Then they wonder why guys have an easier time maintaing and losing weight.

    I have come to the conclusion that since I have cut out sugar from my diet that it is just as addictive as rec drugs. And I feel so much better it's like night and day.

    Some people can eat whatever they want and stay thin or even gain muscle. I ate A&W fast food for a while and I still gained muscle and no fat, laff.

    Typical chicks though.. they love the sweet shit..

    I noticed a while after cutting sugars you just get used to it and dont even think about them anymore. I havnt have a full dessert since like 2006...

    Bro, I dunno what kinda girls u date but this one sounds like a bit of a porker... The majority of my restaurant dates, the girl ends up ordering a salad with dressing on the side...

    salads seem the way to go when chicks order... at least with my experience.. if a girl is eating blizzards from dairy queen and snacking on crackers with peanut butter, even if shes in shape now, its only time before she'll resemble the stay puff marshmallow man.. but hey thats why there's chocolate and vanilla, something out there for everyone..

    Post some pics if ya can bro so we can get some sort of a visual.. =-)

    Whenever I'm with chicks they always whine about wanting McDonalds burgers and shit. They're thin now, but it's f*cking gross and my dink goes flaccid.

    They eat a salad on the first date dumb ass. I've been dating her for awhile now, so she eats normal.
    If you think all they eat is rabbit food including when you aren't looking you're clueless.

    She isn't a porker, like I said she's in great shape and works out a lot, ran cross country. But if her diet was better she'd be skinny, I'm sure she weighs more than her ideal weight as most girls do.

    i know in the eyes of some people im a dick, although i dont care, when i see chicks or anyone else for that matter eating fast food or what i consider crap food, to me it says i dont care about my body, complete turn off

    Chicks always want pasta on dates because:

    1) Pasta is relatively easy to eat. Not messy at all, and nothing gets stuck in her teeth. Chicks are sensitive about that.

    2) Pasta or Italian food in general normally isn't super expensive like high end sushi places or $$$$ French food. This way she won't look like too much of a materialistic gold-digging whore.

    3) For some reason, chicks think of pasta as "healthy food." So they think ordering pasta will make the impression that they won't fatten up into a cow if the relationship continues.

    That's funny. Chicks always eat like a bird the first few times you go out with them, then they go back to being porkers. I was eating at Chilis the other day and got a chicken salad, the waitress, being smart, said 'watching your figure?' I thought ' Maybe you should you fuking heifer.'

    If you eat a low-fat diet in the hope of losing weight, you unintentionally make the problem worse. If, like millions of women, you have eaten a low-fat, high-carbohydrate diet for many years, or followed fad diets, the odds are good that you have become at least partially insulin resistant.

    Insulin is responsible for maintaining stable blood sugar levels by telling the body’s cells when to absorb glucose from the bloodstream. Being insulin resistant means your body stops responding to insulin, and instead grabs every calorie it can and deposits it as fat. So no matter how little you eat, you will gradually gain weight.

    At the same time, your cells cannot absorb the glucose they need, so they signal your brain that you need more carbohydrates or sugars. The result is persistent food cravings.

    Even worse, insulin resistance leads directly to obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. Many experts believe it is the root cause of the epidemic of those diseases in America today. And a low-fat diet makes it far more likely you will suffer from this condition.

    Millions of American women are now trying the Atkins Diet or the South Beach Diet. While these diets are an improvement over the conventional low-fat, high-carbohydrate diet, they can worsen your metabolic problems, because dieting itself is stressful to the body. So many women need to heal their metabolism first before even considering weight loss.

    When I lost 40 lbs I added a tablespoon or two of Olive oil to my clean diet and the fat fell off. Slowly but it came off.

    even if they eat a lot at dinner they probably don't eat all that much the rest of the day otherwise they all would be fat. and pasta isn't all that bad for someone not on a very strict diet

    maybe she just works it all off in the bedroom

    girls think emotionally. guys think logically. girls who eat carbs (sugars) are eating w/their emotions b/c their depressed or stressed blahblah and they wanna "feel better" temporarily... guys don't because they don't eat with their emotions and they think about the consequences beforehand.
    if u really care about the girl and wanna be w/her in the longrun.. just tell her straight up that sooner or later she's gonna get fat eating all that garbage!

    so I went out tonight with a different girl. This was our 3rd date. She's thin and works out, has a great body. She spent 2-3 hours in the gym this morning.
    Before dinner she wouldn't shut up about chocalate covered strawberries.
    then there was an hour wait for dinner
    the place we were eating is in this mall type place, we walked around looked in some stores...we walked past a krispy kreme donut place and I shit you not, she ate two. Said it would hold her over until dinner. Then she washed it down with a rasberry Stoli and Sprite (the most sugary drink I've ever tasted).
    I feel like I'm dating insects.

    i feel ya kratos, i hang out with chicks like this all day at college, i'm sitting there walking to class with them eating tuna and they are munching on snickers and crap and still losing weight

    I think they pay the price...either they take up working out like crazy to cancel out their sugar habit or they eventually turn into whales once youth wears off. The chick I went out with tonight is 27, so she's learned how to find a balance, but life doesn't need to be so hard. Why do hours of cardio so you can eat a krispy kreme before dinner?

    She isn't a porker, like I said she's in great shape and works out a lot, ran cross country. But if her diet was better she'd be skinny, I'm sure she weighs more than her ideal weight as most girls do.
