How many mins for 1/2 inch sirloin on foreman grill?

I have the old 1 with no heat selection just wait 5 mins and it's ready for cooking.I just added sirloin to my diet and before I mess up my $5.00 steak I want to know the best way.

lol depends on your grill and how you like your steak and the thickness of it. Make sure the grill is heated up well before using

I always did about 4 minutes, then flipped it for another 4. I know its a forman, but i always flipped it half way through.

You will have to see what works best for your taste

You say you dont want to ruin it but you like it medium well? I cant stand anything over barely medium. But to answer your question i would do 8-10 minutes total but its all based on the color of the center so just cut slightly in it and look
