The One Troop I Hope Does Not Return From Iraq
Here's my rant. My fiance has a stalker. She dated him 2-3 years ago for around 10 months and after breaking up tried to be friends. It didn't work out so she stopped talking with him. He gave her a car during this time and it was under both of there names, anyways... Fastforward to now, after changing addresses twice, and phone number 3 times this freak continues to stalk my fiance. He sends her nonstop messages of how he wants to get back with her and my fiance sends him nothing but, f off and other rude messages, and he doesn't get the picture. He used to stop by her old residences and just wait in his car, texting her, leaving her flowers by her vehicle ( / his) and even going into it cause he still has the keys and messing around. She's threatened him with a restraining order and he tells her it won't stop him. Her ex's have threatened him and still nothing. I've personally told her I want to beat his ass, but she thinks he'd actually try to use a weapon to hurt me so won't tell me. Thankfully he doesn't know her current address, and just texts her. She doesn't like talking about him, but what I have found out is he's a marine who works on helicopters at Pendleton and is scheduled to deploy within a week or so. I hope he does not return. If he does, and when my fiance moves out with me and he continues this, I'm going to contact his chain of command and let them know, as well as go with my fiance to finally get a restraining order. I don't understand why people do this? What the hell is wrong with them? And I also believe that he was abusive to her which pisses me off even more... Sorry fellas, this shit is just ridiculous and shouldn't happen. Especially from a U.S. Marine...

I would never wish for a person to die, she should have contacted his chain of command and got the restraining order against him.
on a side note he is getting the new phone number some how? and after six months over there he might just forget about her.

I don't talk to her a lot about him cause it seems to bring up bad memories, only when I need to. As far as getting the new numbers and addresses, I don't know on all the occasions, but I do know the last time he called her mom's house and asked her mom and she gave it to him, cause her mom's pretty clueless. And I don't usually hope death for people, but when it comes to abusing someone I love, who's afraid of them now and they won't leave her alone, that tops off my anger scale. And if he does come back, hopefully he does lose interest... Altho it's been happening for over 2 years now so another 6 months who knows...

First: restraining order. No contact.
Second: kill him when he shows up.

LOL I may have actually been in his unit at one time. Anyway if you notify his squadron of his actions it will probably get fixed without anything else. Seriously

Too bad. I've been through this once.
Keep an eye on her man. If she changes the # again (which i would do) and he gets it again, say later to the both of them.

Call the First Seargent and get the restraining order. He says it won't stop him and I am sure a judge would love to hear that tough guy talk. Judge's love it when you play all tough before sending you down for a couple of years.

First thing is sell the car they have together. That is keeping a tie between the to of them. Also it gives him a legitimate reason to contact her.
If you apply for a restraining order once you go in front of the judge he will use the car as an excuse. You have to prove he is threatening or dangerous.
I was in the same situation but my ex tried against me, i told the judge she wouldnt return calls and i need to contact her about the car and money she owes me. The restraining order was dropped instantly.

I was in the Marines. Never wish that upon anyone. We are fighting other there for you civilians. I spent 23 months in Iraq protecting my country. That being said dont say that again please..
As to him being crazy. You have an easy fix my friend. If you know where he is stationed. Your good contact the Commanding Officer and report this to him. If he does it again call back to the CO. The Military Police will take care of all this for you.Last edited by subaruwrx04; 03-31-2009 at 11:09 AM.

Or better yet, go in your phone-options-block contact-enter#.
If he calls from other phones, change the number.
If he comes by, ask him to leave.
If he does not listen, call the police.
Even I can figure this one out.
Are you certain she has never considered going back to him between relationships? there are honestly very few people this crazy, most of the time it ends up someone is being strung along.
IMO if she really wanted him gone that bad, she would have had a PPO on awhile ago or changed her number....or just not respond instead of fighting with him still.

I agree with these guys who think something is up. I'm not saying she is back getting with this guy. But i doubt she is behing totally honest with you and has broken off all contact with him like she says. You gotta have some issues yourself to get with a guy like this in the first place.
Be careful with this one bro.
