On-line classes
I'm curious how many people here took *any* form of an online class.
what were your experiences?
what did you like/what sucked?

Tried a couple but kept getting expelled for chatting up female class mates...

i take at least 2 online classes every semester
i like em when i choose the right 1s, and they can be easy
the only downside IMO is that i tend to put them off and will have to finish up and turn in assignments last minute. im like that in every class though, attending or not
try it out man, the only way you will know if you like em or not

eh thats tuff, they re so dependant on the topic or course
ill go easier
mostly based on the fact that you work at your own pace in a way and dont have to worry about attendance (in most cases) and showing up for class
plus on tests and quizzes you can cheat and use your book
so ya easier LOL

I took several online courses when I was getting my BA. It was cool because you could kind of go at your own pace, but at the same time, you have so much freedom that if you aren't highly disciplined it's real easy to fail.
Plus, not actually having to drive to campus and physically go to class is awesome.

From my experience and my friends, it depends on the class and the professor.
If its just a basic, need to get out of the way course, sure, online is great.
But if your looking for a good professor, and its a more advanced course, nothing beats that in class learning.

Actually, regarding an MD online, I would think that the exams would be harder on the patients...
