You ever smell the inside of your shaker?
It smells like absolute ****.
I wash mine all the time with soap and have even tried bleach.
Still smells like some sort of road kill if I stick my nose in it.

I wash it out immediately after and let soap and warm water sit in it for a few hours. As long as I do that, it's not a problem. If I let it sit out for more than a few hours, time for a new shaker!

I usually hand wash mine and then at the end of the week put it in the dishwasher. A couple of times I've left it in my car by accident...nasttttyyyy.

at one stage i thought i had lost my shaker, then i found it under the passenger seat of my car bout a week later. I knew it was going have a filthy rancid smell but i just had to take a sniff, dry reaching occurred almost immediately.
A relative went to wash my shaker one day only had to open the lid and it hit her, instead of washing it she put it in a plastic bag and threw it out

LOL that's funny that you mention this because I was thinking the exact same thing last night.
Mine is kinda like what I imagine the inside of a fake leg might smell like...

Use a plastic cup and a fork, clean and dry when done - the end, no smell.
Not even sure why all your shakers are smelling. As long as you clean out the protein and dry it there should be no smell. Maybe I need a shaker to understand..
