Who's the biggest pvssy on the board? Right here!
So I have a mouse (or maybe mice) in my house.
I got some "no-kill" sticky traps because I don't want my dog getting into one of the nasty ones.
Found a mouse in one tonight, figured I'd just take it outside and let it go.
He struggled to get out, and I tried to help push him... didn't work.
Poured warm water on him, and then vegetable oil, and man he fought his little heart out. He was pulling as hard as he could but his leg was stuck, and everytime I'd try to push him out with a stick he'd turn around and bite the shit out of it. I admired the fight he had in him.
After the dramatic struggle he finally got out, but was moving slow and kept crawling over to me.
I took him inside, cleaned him up, and have him in a homemade cage on my desk with food and water.
I love the little bastard.
I'm so hardcore.

And yeah the weird part is I used to have a snake I fed mice all the time.
Guess I just liked this one's style.

Not sure if i would have kept him either but I think it's pretty cool you kept him. I have a snake too and feed mine mice and every once in a while I wonder if I should keep one. I never have yet though.

Well I think his leg got injured getting out of the trap so he probably would have just been ****ed if I let him go.
Plus he kept crawling over to me... like we were bros... couldn't leave my bro hanging.

I had a mouse but he kept getting the cheese without the traps going off. I setup a motion activated camera in front of the trap and it took this :

He is a cute little guy tho! That is interesting that he came back to you. He's luck you're such a cool guy! Most mice would have been dead. I woulda kept him too, he would have been toast outside with a hurt foot. You going to name him? :P Maybe AR has a mascott.
You has gots to get him a hamsta' cage
They are between $15 and $20 at petsmart.
Here is an example of one sort

Mice like peanut butter, cheese, etc. Of course a 3 Lb bag of mice food is like $3.Last edited by SnaX; 04-21-2009 at 04:35 PM.

Um he will be able to chew out of that thing if you give him a day.
I had a rat get stunned from a rat trap in our house. My gf woudln't let me kill it so i put it in a disposable container to let it loose in a dumpster around the house. In reality, I put it on the road and drove over the rat and the container.

5 star accommodations right there. i hate killing things like that.... which is why we got our first cat like 12 years ago. that thing was a monster in its early days, then a couple years ago it got caught in a hunting trap and was stuck for an entire week, almost died, but managed to get back home and has recovered, but lost the insanity of its early days.
also, my grandparents are very sensitive, so they would take all the mice and little rodents they found, keep them for a day or two so they would be healthy, then DRIVE them miles away to a park and let them go. they kept track of how many for a while too.

I kill mice. They smell funny when they die.
That's the worst part for me.

Hes cute but hes gonna die in a week if his mommys looking for him. Field mice have an avg life span of 2-3 months, a domestic mouse can live 2-3 years + they're socialized to humans.
I trained one to always stay on my shoulder and would walk around everywhere with the little bastard, he was cute and wikid smart.
But those wild mice usually don't do good when you try to domesticate them, plus I got bit once (was actually a baby bunny not the mouse that bit me) and I got sick as shit for 2 days with diarehea.
The rabbit died the next day and all the mice I had would die within a week avg. They're easy to take care of but for some reason wild mice do better on their own, and even on their own they don't make it long.
g/luck!

UPDATE
Because I know all you guys are really concerned...
I decided to set the mouse free.
I mean what's a better life? Being trapped in a cage or running around and getting into shit?
I never touched anything but his tail, so he shouldn't have any human-stink on him or whatever.
His leg seemed good and he was running around in a normal way.
So I took him to the church across the street from my house and let him loose to do my bidding.
Hopefully he chews through the walls and the place collapses.
My little guy.
