Is it sad that I haven't done any cardio in over 2 years?
Yet my bf% is around 10-11% (figure in the fact I am currently on a bulk). I absolutely hate running, I always joke with my buddies if I ever ran I would have an asthma attack.
I used to be a runner as a kid, then I moved down to the South and it is so ****ing hot here if I run I would probably have a stroke and I hate running on treadmills it messes up my knees.
I was able to drop my bf% after a 40lb bulk 2 years from 16% to 12-13% without cardio.
I need to start just for the hell of it because I have no cardiovascular build up
Anyone in the same boat as me?

Yeah, I was thinking about it, but I got this weird body image disorder. Like I am no Arnold or anything, but I am muscular, yet I don't like taking my clothes off in public. It's this whole obsession with "getting my body perfect" before I show it off to the world.
Plus my current cycle has made me grow hair all over my chest and abs which I find so dishearting

haha bro, you realize that nobody on this forum is EVER going to be 100% satisfied with their body. Just shave that sweater you call chest hair off and get in the pool!
PM me with how much experience you have in the pool, and I'll send you a solid schedule.

what about sports, basketball is my main cardio

Genetics. Not everyone does cardio all the time. Just because you have low bf doesnt meant you should stop doing cardio all together. Remember its not only for losing fat but also good for the heart.

Immortal, i officially loathe you, i have more fat cells than probably everyone on this board with the exception of Fat Truck so losing fat comes VERY difficult to me, that's one of the main reasons why i'm so into diet and nutrition
so to recap, good for you you fvcker, lol

i would really advise you to start doing some cardio...like on a stationary bike or an eliptical...you want your heart to be healthy...i use to be the same way, i didnt do cardio in like 2 years but im starting to do low intensity everyday after my work out...havent seen any lose in muscle and im off cycle..remember the number one thing is to be healthy...you dont want to look very fit yet be very unhealthy

I used to be a skinny nonathletic kid, now I am a muscular nonathletic man
I don't know man, as long as I eat relatively healthy and workout I just lose fat, I mean im not a genetic freak where I can get to 8% bf without doing cardio. No, probably 10% is the best I can do without being on a cutter or something.
lol
5 times a week? Damn, if I ran once a week for 30 minutes I would be proud of myself
I know bro, I get winded so easily. My friends always say I sound like a bear or asthmatic I am just huffing and puffing all the time

I hate hate hate cadio as well!!!
the only cardio i do is the ellyptical or stationary bike at the gym. other than that i get my cardio from sports or sprints/stairs once a week
but ya Immortal im like you....i dont need intense cardio. i keep my fat off easily. the highest my bf% has been was 15-16. now im about 12-13%
i like to stay in a little cardio shape, just in case anyone ever gets brave with me and i have to crack some heads

Yeh I fvcking LOVE running, but not on a treadmill I feel like a mouse that way.
Like today in NJ it was 93 and hot weather motivates me more if anything. But the best about this time of year is our pool is still only like 58 degrees.
Best feeling in the world to jump straight in a pool right after a hard run, I love it!

Same, like I said 2 years ago I did a 40lb bulk my bf% went from 8% to 16%, then I cleaned up my diet and continued to bulk and workout intensly and it dropped to 12% in 8 months without any cardio. I used to be really skinny, I gained alot of weight naturally before ever turning to gear.
You're a freak, who loves to run? You are crazy

I've been going out on my roller blades lately, I love it. Running is too much on the old knees

I have never ran a cut in my life, unless you call periods of 2 months where I didn't work out, cutting. I always bulk and make sure i stay lean at the same time, in my bulks I try to lose fat actually (now with the aid of steroids ) before gear I tried to limit my fat gain to only 2% increase in bf or less.

After getting out of the Army in 1998 the only way you would have found me running was if something was chasing me. But in the last year I have enjoyed the new cardio equipment that has been coming out. I like the Expresso bike because it is more like a video game to me.

Stop making excuses my friend and do something for your hearts sake. You'll be thankful later on.

I'm the same way. Sitting about 10% and no cardio ever. Thinking about starting tho just to get those lower abs out.
