BULL! Tell me if you agree with me and think the media is a bunch of fvcking morons!

His natty test was shut down...he needed HCG to get his nuts functioning again. The ED excuse was to throw off the moron sports reporters that have no clue what they are talking about.

No way he sues that DR. in a million years. That DR. new his nuts were shut down because he had been sticking pins in his ass all these years! I mean who would NOT sue if a DR. cost them $8M?!?!?! It is all BS...MLB knows what is going down...

Read Charles Yesalis' (google him if you don't know who he is) quote on Manny. He is saying the same thing I am...but the media does not get it. Basically he says 'HCG for ED? Uhhhmmm...nope Manny. Nice try.'

“Testosterone and similar drugs are effective for erectile dysfunction in that they jazz up your sex drive,” said Charles Yesalis, a professor at Penn State University who has testified before Congress on issues of performance-enhancing drugs. “But far more clinicians accept that affect with Viagra and Cialis. It’s hard for me to understand if it was erectile dysfunction why they would use it.”
Not a single reporter that I've seen believes his B.S. and I've been watching espn all day. Only guy that humored him even a little is Peter Gammons and he was pretty skeptical.

I agree with you in general about the media, but I'm not seeing it on this one.

Hmmm..... 50 game suspension.... looks like he'll have just enough time to get another quick cycle in before he returns!! Dip shit. Absolutely no real reason to use HCG alone, unless coming off a cycle or your natty production has been shut down from previous cycles. And no fighting the suspension - and where is the Players Union...? because he's full of crap and knows he's caught. MLB, however, needs to either shit or get off the pot though with the whole steroid thing. Either drop it, or test EVERYONE now and get it over with. Who are they kidding? Besides, we the fans who want bigger, stronger, faster athletes and who are in lkove with the long ball - aren't we to blame? I dont know about you, but I dont want the game to be reduced to small ball....

Yeah...I got ya. But what I'm saying is someone needs to call him out the why of HCG . These moron mass media reporters don't know WHY is my point. I could give a shit less that he did roids (he got his contract $$$$). If these guys knew what they were talking about maybe they would not be so quick to bash our culture and condemn these players.

Charles Yesalis is saying it...nope not for ED you didn't.

Several reporters on espn have said exactly what hcg is used for. I just don't get what you are talking about.

Say it ain't so! Is it just me or would you rather just not know? Ignorance is at times bliss. I am not a huge baseball fan but when I hear news like this it does not help.

APPARENTLY, he was also found with elevated levels of testesterone previously and thats why the ran the new tests and found HCG ,, MLB looks like they choose to suspend on the HCG only because it still be a 50 game suspension either way

Good topic, but all sports in US should look at how Roger Goodell runs the NFL and take note from that man.

Who are you kidding? Goodell knows the league needs 275lb., 6ft 4in, LBs running 3.9 40s. Not knowing is half the battle...

"If you give me a group of athletes and allow me to train them, we can pass every test known to man. You only need a very small amount of testosterone to get benefits, and with growth hormone, they have carte blanche. I could take an M-1 tank and drive it through the loopholes in NFL drug testing.”

    sign, Charles Yesalis
