Neuro Research , Neuro Replete
I have been encountering a lot of bodybuilders that are experiencing depression and anxiety..
I wanted to know if anyone here has heard of Neuro Research and Dr Marty Hinz ?
He works with the University of Minnesota school of medicine ( they just - along with Ingrid Kohlstadt , from "Johns Hopkins University depression research department " - published a VALID peer reviewed study showing the 40 year old mono-amine theory is wrong )..
You cant just modulate serotonin by it self or it will lead to catecholamine depletion ( dopa, norphinpenrine and epinephrine ).. and vice versa - if you just administer L- dopa it will deplete serotonin .. This is why antidepressants , and other drugs that work by using neurotransmitters stop working after using them for a little while -they burn out.. in antidepressants they just dont work for many people )..
So if you are just taking say--paxil ( a SSRI which is a serotonin Reuptake inhibitor) you will be depleting your dopa, norephineprine and epinephrine .. And if you were taking, lets say wellbutrin ( Re-uptakes L- dopa ) you would be depleting you serotonin .. The proper way is to take balanced amounts of 5htp with tyrosine and cysteine.. This way you are repleting the proper neurotransmitter without depleting the other..
I have been researching DR Marty HiNZ work for a few years now , and I believe he has the proper treatment for anxiety , depression , ADD, parkinson's and many other neurotransmitter dysfunctions... There are over 80 neurotransmitter dysfunctions that his protocol treats..
He uses Amino Acids 5htp with tyrosine , L- Dopa and cysteine plus several co -factors .. The protocol uses very high doses ( but has been proven safe).. He also created a urinary neurotransmitter test that correlates with brain neurotransmitters ( but you have to be on a certain level of the amino acids or the urinary test does not show the levels or brain neurotransmitters( only in the blood) so doing a urinary test prior to starting amino acid treatment is invalid..
Dr Hinz has over 2000 patient years of research on this topic and I believe he is really the one who is groundbreaking the proper treatments to correct any disease that is related to neurotransmitter dysfunction .. and using amino acids to get almost 100% recovery in all his patients..
He has a 100 % success rate in treating depression with his amino acid protocol since 2005..
You can check out his site at http://www.neuroassist.com/
If anyone here has used Dr Hinz protocol please chime in !!! Or if you guys have any questions post em up ??

Thanks for the feedback MS... Yea he also teaches a American Medical association AMA Category 1 Continuing Medical Education course.. There are over 650 clinics in the US using his protocols .. I am very interested in his work .. I believe he have really got to the bottom of things that we couldn't even start to understand about 8 - 10 years ago .. The new research that is coming out now is proving a lot of the old theories were wrong .. In the past 10 years we have come further that ever ... Depression and anxiety is a huge epidemic and getting worse .. its nice to see effective protocols use none allopathic methods..

Wow, did not know anything about it but do suffer from something I can't spell and to lazy to go look it up right. After ten years in the military and doing a couple things after, I started getting into a lot of fight at a drop of a hat and have been on meds for over four years now. I will look into this a little bit more. I can say while on cycle I do not need my meds because I am just happy....never had rage while on cycle...
Thanks for the update bro...
