Anyone mixed the two? Got a dive trip next weekend, I don't really exert to much energy diving, so I wouldn't imagine I'd be getting out of breath. I'd like to hear from someone who's been there tho...

I've never done either but I don't see why you have any problems. How deep is the dive?
it should help you keep warm that's for sure..

I'm an avid diver, but new to aas.
I would definitely stay very far from your ndls. It would seem logical that aas would increase your nitrogen load, since they help your muscles to retain nitrogen.
I would also take really long surface intervals and surface really slowly Take an extra long safety stop and maybe add a stop halfway up. I'm going to ask about this on scuba board, but it worries me. There are some very knowlegable folks on there hopefully some has the facts.
On a side, what boat do you like to go out on and what sites do you like in your area. I see you're from Tampa. My father just bought a condo in sarasoto, and it would be nice to know where to dive when I visit him. I've heard that there are lots of sharks near tampa. Sharks are my favorite thing to see.
Been diving for years and cycling for years as well. Never any issues. Often wondered the same, but never let it stop me. Have never felt any different.
If your on tren and your diving you wont need any of that wimpy scuba gear that everyone else is using.
He will still need a BC. (some of th eposters here will get that but I suspect BC will not)
It should be safe unless you run into a shark with roid rage.
^^Well if you're a dive master, diving on tren must be safe.
just looking at the title made me lol.
Please just don't internet slap me ITG PLEASE! *curls up in fetal position in corner*

Jeez, didn't expect a response.
Well, Yes I'm in Tampa.
I'm new to diving.
I'll be diving in the keys.
I'll be erring on the side of caution with my ascents anyways being new.
I don't really know too many places around tampa to dive for sightseeing, but supposedly is the spearfishing capitol of the world...I plan on grabbing 300 lb gag's with my bare hands once the tren kicks in!
There are lots of sharks everywhere.
Thanks for checking Falco...I appreciate it.
DUDE ANOTHER SPEARFISHER! they have a tournament in tampa every year in may i believe..... i was supposed to enter it last year but couldn't. I havn't spearfished in over a year - i miss it! I never used scuba gear to spearfish tho..... always free diving.
I have relatives in sarasota also..... beautiful area. Just full of old people lol
~Haz~
I was swimming the other day and there is nothing better then diving straight into cold water when you are on tren! the sweats soon stop ;-)
Last time I was on tren and went scuba diving, I killed five people. for some reason i though I was john rambo and pulled my dive knife and raided the key west beach, It was a bad day bro, all I can say be safe...
prone, I laugh hysterically at about half the stuff you post. you are one funny mofo.
hey doesnt tren fvck with your cardio?
so wouldnt he possibly get alittle more winded while diving and not be able to stay under aslong as he normal would?
ya i have dove be for just once. it was fun. but wasnt really sher how bad tren makes you feel cardio wise.
General consensus on scubaboard is that nobody has heard of any experimenting with scuba and steroids, but nobody could come up with any reason why your sefety would be compromised.
Yeah, that is the only thing I could think might be affected - air supply. I mean, Your basically just drifting around, so I assume as long as I don't start exerting too much energy, everything will be fine. If not, oh well, I'll just come up. Will let you guys know how it goes.
Yeah so diving is what I would actually consider a "vacation" The water is a balmy 80* at 40 feet, the only noise is my breath. Fish are lazily swimming by. The hot chick working on the boat is swimming at the surface in a string bikini. And I'm just drifting along, without a care in the world. It's friggin' awesome. Highly reccommend it. And tren doesn't affect you in any way. now im ready to start killin' chit
