    Scuba and Tren...

Anyone mixed the two? Got a dive trip next weekend, I don't really exert to much energy diving, so I wouldn't imagine I'd be getting out of breath. I'd like to hear from someone who's been there tho...

I've never done either but I don't see why you have any problems. How deep is the dive?

I'm an avid diver, but new to aas.

I would definitely stay very far from your ndls. It would seem logical that aas would increase your nitrogen load, since they help your muscles to retain nitrogen.

I would also take really long surface intervals and surface really slowly Take an extra long safety stop and maybe add a stop halfway up. I'm going to ask about this on scuba board, but it worries me. There are some very knowlegable folks on there hopefully some has the facts.

On a side, what boat do you like to go out on and what sites do you like in your area. I see you're from Tampa. My father just bought a condo in sarasoto, and it would be nice to know where to dive when I visit him. I've heard that there are lots of sharks near tampa. Sharks are my favorite thing to see.

Been diving for years and cycling for years as well. Never any issues. Often wondered the same, but never let it stop me. Have never felt any different.

My Grandfather (Who is Irish) said they used to call the cops Padiwaggers in the early 1900's.
All the Cops were Irish and they came around with the Padiwagon. So your an Irish divemaster? Interesting.

    Jeez, didn't expect a response.

    Well, Yes I'm in Tampa.

    I'm new to diving.

I'll be diving in the keys.

I'll be erring on the side of caution with my ascents anyways being new.

I don't really know too many places around tampa to dive for sightseeing, but supposedly is the spearfishing capitol of the world...I plan on grabbing 300 lb gag's with my bare hands once the tren kicks in!

There are lots of sharks everywhere.

Thanks for checking Falco...I appreciate it.

I don't spear fish, but free diving seems a lot more sporting. It seems like it would just be too easy on scuba.

To the op: I'm still waiting on a usefull response on scubaboard.

General consensus on scubaboard is that nobody has heard of any experimenting with scuba and steroids, but nobody could come up with any reason why your sefety would be compromised.

Great advice! That's what I was thinking, just to be on the safe side. I'd also keep a close eye on my air gauge, as you might use more than usual from the Tren.

Good luck, have fun, take some pictures from your dive, and post them up when you get a chance!

Yeah, that is the only thing I could think might be affected - air supply. I mean, Your basically just drifting around, so I assume as long as I don't start exerting too much energy, everything will be fine. If not, oh well, I'll just come up. Will let you guys know how it goes.

Yeah so diving is what I would actually consider a "vacation" The water is a balmy 80* at 40 feet, the only noise is my breath. Fish are lazily swimming by. The hot chick working on the boat is swimming at the surface in a string bikini. And I'm just drifting along, without a care in the world. It's friggin' awesome. Highly reccommend it. And tren doesn't affect you in any way. now im ready to start killin' chit
