Do any of you wear them? I don't understand.... why not cargo shorts? I can't seem to take people who wear these seriously? I thought they went the way of the dodo but I still see them every so often.

I have to admit that I'm a geek with a fanny pack. I've tried to use my pockets for my cell, wallet and keys, but I wouldn't workout with crap in my pockets. My friends tease me mercilessly for it. Go ahead and flame me for it. I'm a fanny packer!

They are tools used to carry handguns in... If you are at the state fair and you see a guy in his mid - late 30's/40's with one.. you have a 7 in 10 chance that he has a concealed carry permit and he is packin..

I used to carry one all the time. My job consisted of a crap load of travel. Was great for airline ticket, passport, wallet, keys, cell, and whatever the hell else. Wish I could go back to one without my wife wanting to hang me.

I never owned one but I do see them quite often in the airport. Like StevePJC said I can see where they would come in handy while travelling. Sometimes I hate having to go digging through my lap top bag at every security gate. I never keep my stuff just out in my hand because I am bad at loosing things.

Yeah, I've seen those packs. I've got a concealed carry and on the rare chance I pack, it's just in my waistband, under a shirt. I think it'd feel awkward banging against my sac as I walked.

LOL Schmidty. I use a backpack when I have enough to carry to justify having one. Otherwise.... it's the FANNY PACK!!! I actually get a kick sometimes out of the reaction I get out of friends for that silly thing.
