man, what happened to the good 'ol days,
when you could slap a kid around who wasn't listening,
without fearing some other kid is recording it on their cell phone.
j/k.

Because when the parents send there little angle to school they want the teacher to fix them. And when they come home acting like a little asshats it is the teachers fault. Step up and be a parent and not there friend people. And yes what happened to the good old days when you could knock the living hell out of a dick head kid.

I have some good friends that are teachers, and they agree with me that the teacher union is about the worse thing in the world for the education system.
The teacher union, has to follow rules, they have to offer the "new" or better jobs to the teachers with the most seniority.
My best friend is a special education teacher, and really wants a new to take a new position opening up, but 4 teachers have seniority on him. He loves what he does and is really driven, and the job will go to some teachers that don't care, just want the pay increase.
A teacher like this, could and probably would be backed by the teachers union.

don't be hating on their culture..
Issue at hand is we in the USA do not accept that type of behavior... however how do w impose our value system on others..
Is that what we want??The answer to your every question

Kids in the US are Bastards plain and simple. I Worked in the schools as a Student Mentor and kids run wild. To say most teachers dont care is flat out wrong. You would not believe how much they care. Teachers in the US have no control of the classrooms because of Political Correctness. Teachers cant teach when the students run wild and have no consequences to their actions.

^^^ i agree. im young-yes, but i was respectful to the teachers as if they were my own parents.
seeing how some of the kids in school acted made me wonder how some teachers didnt just slap the sh%t out of them.
talking to the older crowd they would tell me that if they acted up in school the teacher would punish them, then when they got home their dad would beat the sh$t out of them for giving the teacher a hard time.
its just rediculous.

I think US absolutely should impose upon other countries, fvck that.
There are people in this planet 50 thousand years behind evolution so us "imposing" on them would be equivalent to aliens from the future landing in America and teaching US some new shit.
Sure wed be afraid at first but wed thank them later.
And if they dont want us to impose, we just bomb them, simple.

The assumption that our way is the best way is exactly the type of thinking that inspires radical Islamic rebels to invade the next village over and force them to live the way they feel is right.
My boarding school was about 30% students from South Korea...it's a totally different culture. They have this system of hiarchy based on age...like even if you are a day older then someone...you are basically their boss. They'll push the younger kids down a flight of stairs just for fun...make them buy food. The older kids are the ones who get to go home for Christmas break. The freshman and Soph kid's parents leave them behind to chill at the school for 2 and a half weeks instead of buying them a ticket home to Korea. It was common for them to take HGH to grow an extra 2 inches taller, because in Korea height is power in business. These kid's parents were loaded, money was no object. Different values, different culture.

haha at least someone got it. this thread was my point exactly. A cop hits a woman who is acting like an @sshole and everyone is up in arms about it and all cops are dicks and should be ashamed and blah blah blah. now a child who we are assuming was acting up gets hit by a teacher and suddenly its all the kids fault and he deserved it and teachers should be allowed to so on and so forth. pretty stupid if you ask me...

I just dont understand how culture turns into a transparent wall where we all a sudden need to not overstep that boundary.
They overstep that boundary everytime they smack a kid in the face and try to FORCE their beliefs into their children.
We overstep similar boundaries in different ways in our own culture.
What Im saying is all cultures have ways of imposing their own beliefs within a culture, so how does imposing beliefs all a sudden become wrong when we start reaching outside one culture and into another?
Because the way I see it, its not right (idealistically speaking) but if we already do it, and they do, hows it become any more wrong just because we want to do it to them? or them to us?
The way I personally see it. The culture with the best belief system in the end will survive. So if we try to impose our culture at the same time they try to impose theirs on us, and we end their culture, doesnt that just mean ours was better to begin? If you look bad in the day at how greek and roman cultures ended you can also see specific reasons why. We might not see them today in our own culture but time eventually reveals all these downfalls.
I say may the best culture win. Thats the way its always been.
