it varies in quality according to your video card, but these days they all pretty look pretty good.
just re adjust the desktop setting and all good to go.

Damn! I tried that for so long and couldnt get it right. I used 2 s Video cables linked together and it looked fuzzy as shit on my tv. I even bought some rip-off converter that i probably didnt need.
I heard I could buy a signal repeater to stop the fuzziness (my tv is far from my desktop), but I have friends who havent had to do shit to hook it up. Worked for them first try.
Where do I start? You guys using S-video? My old vid card broke and maybe my new one would help. I cant wait to jack off to vaginas and asshoels bigger than my entire face.

computer monitors usually have better resolutions than tv's, even an HDTV is 1080p, which is basically 1920x1080, meaning less than a 24" computer monitor (1920x1200)
hdmi works well. i have some pretty nice computer speakers (505w 5.1 surround. 10" sub) so that helps.
lastly, icons and desktop font, you do in properties, like said above, but if you just want to change it on a browser, hold control and mouse wheel up to make it bigger

1080p is more then sufficent for most people and then some
Currently, 1024x768 is regarded as an acceptable default. As of July, 2002, 1024×768 Extended Graphics Array was the most common display resolution. Many web sites and multimedia products were re-designed from the previous 800×600 format to the higher 1024×768-optimized layout as a result. 1024 x 768 is still the most popular screen resolution in 2009, and what web sites are often optimized for.
With the popularity of LCD display's...now 57% of people have capability to view above 1024x768.
if you want to get extreme but uncalled for
Many computer users including CAD users, graphic artists and video game players run their computers at 1600×1200 resolution (UXGA, Ultra-eXtended) or higher if they have the necessary equipment. Other recently available resolutions include oversize aspects like 1400×1050 SXGA+ and wide aspects like 1280×720 WXGA, 1680×1050 WSXGA+, and 1920×1200 WUXGA. A new HD resolution of 2560x1600 WQXGA has been released mainly in 30" LCD monitors. Special monitors for medical diagnostic work are using 3280 x 2048 WQSXGA, which is the current maximum resolution available in a single monitor.
It all depends what the program you're running will support at that point in addition to your video card and monitor. So to say you aren't getting the sharpest pic at 1080p isn't true if you're viewing most web pages or most programs today. Even if you were getting a few extra lines in a particular program...once you're at 1080p most people won't miss them unless insanely hard core.Last edited by Kratos; 05-27-2009 at 09:19 AM.
