Heres a tip. Dont go running/jogging/biking/camping where bears are without a gun.

How to survive a bear attack-shoot the motherfu*ker in the head...the end.

RA, it sounds like you've spent some time in the bush.
    Have any on the wall?

With the anti-hunting crowd bawling all the time, bear populations and bear attacks will continue to rise.... I have seen bears be quite aggressive and bold as they lose fear of humans.
As soon as some of the treehuggers kids get dragged off and eaten things will change.......and bears will be put where they belong.

I dont hunt bears because I wouldnt eat the meat...bear meat is disgusting. But if it becomes an issue like your saying where people are being attacked often I would snipe a few. I wouldnt mind a nice rug.

Although I'm not surprised, I have to say that when the meat is prepared correctly it is fantastic.

Alot of people just remove meat from (let's say a hind quarter for instance) and try to prepare it like beef. That just won't work. The meat has very dense marbling and is not easy to eat that way.

The best way to utilize the meat is to grind it into burger.

Now the backstraps are a totally different story!!
Throw those suckers in a freezer bag full of zesty Italian dressing and let them marinate for a few hours and then throw them on the grill!! That's just righteous!
Red wine vinaigrette makes a nice marinade also.

Maybe your right. The guy who made it the couple times Ive had it really isnt the chef type. It was sooo greasy and tough.

Yeah, sounds about right; That's the dense marbling, makes it tough and hard to bite and chew.
Next time tell him: "WTF!? where's the straps or inner loin"?!.

    lol
