    I need help !!!!!

    need help choosing some gifts for my girl for Christmas. she isn't a fan of silver, so it's either going to be platinum or white gold. more than likely the white gold if i go with a necklace b/c i can't find anything with the saphire stone in platinum. she loves blue too, so that's why i'm goin with the sapphire stone even though it's not her birth stone.

    should i go:

    diamond stud earrings with platinum backings

    or

    a necklace (one of these below maybe....)

    this one is 14 K white gold


    this one is only 10 K white gold, but also has two small diamonds (ranging from .1 CT to .8 CT)

    Key, I love the first one with the blue stone. I have almost the exact same pendant except mine is a ruby and I love it...
    But I'm sure whatever you decide, she's going to go crazy...
    The only thing about the Stud earring is, that they come a dime a dozen and you can get them anywhere. So first one definately!!! :/:

    What's the big difference? 24k white gold=platinum? Anything under 24k is not? Ie, 18k white gold....etc

    I like the first or the last one. The last one with all diamonds is a popular style so she may end up seeing it on quite a few women. The first necklace is a little more of an original style, well, except for the fact that BW has a ruby like it.
