So basically im starting this cycle on monday, and my girlfriend has consistently told me she doesnt want me to get any bigger and that it is unattractive etc.
What i dont understand, is how to explain to her that i dont give a flying fack what she thinks and that i go to the gym and get bigger because its what i love doing and its my addiciton...
and i mean..how do i explain this nicely...while getting bigger...and not getting my ass dumped...

Yeah I have heard this before from some ex's, they seem to want us lean and mean most of the time not bulky. I say I want women to look good without make-up but its just not in the cards so either take it or leave it!

My wife pulls the same sh*t....... she actually supportedme before she said "i do" - now..... forget it. I think her big hang-up is that she KNOWS women like muscular guys..... i'm getting bigger and maybe shes associating that with picking up women..... idunno - but im int he same boat as you.
I told her the same thing you stated in your original post..... i told her it's what i want.... i like it..... it's my life. I also told her i don't harrass her regarding the way she wants to look...... and if she loves me then it shouldn't matter how i look.

yup mine tells me that shite every month even though im not a big person in the slightest. Guess some just like that soccer guy look. For some reason alot of girls thing that being too big is unattractive.... Dont know why, maybe because then they cant manipulate you!!!
Just tell her ok i will not, dont tell her about the cycle. If she sees you everyday lets hope she does not notice gains. If she does tell her its just age kicking in and metabolism slowing down..... you will grow ether fat of muscle if you workout- muscle is better and healthier.

It's true unfortunately, that most woman (90%) tend to have a very narrow line on what is "too big", people i consider "average" get told by woman they are too big. Woman want abercrombie/soccer bodies. You know the "lean" look.
For example:
98% of woman out there would say that Ronnie Coleman's body is disgusting
60-70% of woman would say that Arnold's body in his prime was way too big even though he had the most asthetically pleasing body.
Yet almost all woman love David Beckham or Brad Pitt's body.
It's confusing, the line is very thin among all woman.

From my last experience w/ a ex she was also against it. The way I see it is there's no easy way around it. Especially if the g/f doesn't work out herself they tend to think you look fine. Maybe it's because they are a little insecure and worry you will find someone hotter.

Actually from my experience talking with woman about the subject, they really just find it unattractive.
They don't want bulging muscles to the point you can walk on Muscle beach and compete with the guys there. They don't care if your muscular its just once you start getting too close to that bodybuilder look it becomes disgusting.
I mean I feel the same way, I WOULD LOVE to have the body of a bodybuilder, but when i see it in person I cringe and think "thats way too big man".
Now my final goal is to be lean and ****** at 235-245, and if a girl thinks thats too big than I will stick it in her ass.

I agree, majority of women do find it a turn-off if the guy is too big. But if your only talking about a 15-20 lb gain in muscle, I don't see the harm.

I bodybuild now for competitions and if a woman is not able to accept that then I guess she can move on no big deal. It is my choice and I have a right to do what I love to do. End of story
Don't worry DD there are plenty of model chicks that LOVE huge bodybuilders like Tara Babcock and Jessica Putnam. I'd rather date models any way then some sorority girl that'll just looks good in her twenties then falls off hard when she begins to age.

My wife has finally come around to the fact that I want to be huge but there is still a line. We were at a NPC recently and she saw a pro BB there ( I didnt know who he was).
He wasent one of the big names but he was ****** huge. I think he was about a month out from a comp. She pointed him out to me and said "see now I dont think he looks bad at all ". For her the insane vascularity and striations when dehydrated is what she cant stand,and the bloat durring bulk phase. We have been through so much it has finally come down to we love eachother and she loves me for me. I think you have to lay things out stand up for what you love and soon enough you will find out if the woman is going to stick with you.

imho ive had some exs who told me they didnt want me to get bigger because they didnt want me to look better for other girls and they didnt want me spending more time at the gym then with them. my one ex used to always try to persuade me with sex not to go to the gym and would always tell me she didnt want me getting bigger. i ran into her a couple years after we broke up and she admitted this to me.

You probably have your mind set on how big you really wanna be and best of luck to you. IMO as long as you're not hurting yourself or anyone else then I'd say keep it up man.
