Memphis, Tennessee - Big Foot Lodge - Sasquatch Burger

In downtown Memphis you can visit the Big Foot Lodge. They are the home of the Sasquatch Burger. It's a 4 lb. cheeseburger they sell for $19.99. If you can finish the Sasquatch burger in 60 minutes without aid from others you get the burger for free. You also get your picture on the Hall of Fame. So far, only one picture has made it to the wall!

At first I thought "4lbs doesnt sound THAT much.." and then I saw the pic. Is that supposed to be a 4 lb burger, it looks like a 4 ton burger. Do you not have to pay if you ralf the whole thing back up at the end of the hour?

i was watching this show on the travel channel about BIG food destinations...they showed this humongous burger after they showed a guy eat a 75oz steak, with salad and baked potato in 29 minutes...no joke!

The bun itself weighs 2 pounds (1 pound for each side), the meat weighs 4 pounds, and the condiments weigh 1 pound.. It's a 7 pound burger, you also get 2 or 3 pounds of fries you must finish in that amount of time..

I saw that show last night, they said only 4 people have ever finished the burger. 2 nights ago the guys had to eat habanero fritters that were made with about 20 habanero peppers. My mouth started to burn just watching it
