got pulled over and searched... they found a coupla pills in an old bottle with no markings on them... they said it was white and diamond shaped..

thought it was my medication that i had a script for but they said it had no markings and my meds have markings so the poision control center can identify them...

the whole diamond shaped thing is what gets to me...

the var i used to take was white and circular with a box shape and the letters of the lab pressed on to it... they couldn't tell what it was.. they called posion control and they said it was possibly codine..

so i got hit with poss of narcodics charge and taken in..

anyone had something similar like this happen to them?? what was the outcome??

But that's a whole other issue. Anyways, if you're from the States they will test the gear, and eventually figure out what it is. If you live in a mega-conservative (texas, etc.) community you may be charged.

Depends how much you had. Once they do the chemical breakdown it will be nothing unless you had alot. jmo , but it could be dropped to misd or nothing.
Its like Crak, Once they break it down and weight the Cocacola to Baking soda ratio unless its alot it really doesnt mean anything. Some courts get tricky and will hit you with distribution. You gotta see how much they actually got of any illegal substances.
Your lawyer should be able to get you a copy of all lab work.

There are so many ways around it. As long as your don't resist arrest, you can do many preventative things which do not allow a cop to search your vehicle.

In any case the Var should have been kept in the trunk..

How and Why they searched really doesnt matter unless there are witnesses. Ive heard all types of reasons why a car was searched. They find something 9 out of 10 times they create a reason.
I know in NY this happens all too often.

Jammy, Have your Lawyer check lab work. Depending on where you live they may just toss it once they dont find narcotics. I cant remember exact wording but its like a Felony/Narcotic presentation or somthing. I havent been a criminal in a few years so I cant really rememeber.. lol
I wouldnt worry too much, but that situation could put you on the radar. Like I said it depends what state and how hard the enforecement is.

btw, if they ask to search your car...always say no, especially if you have nothing on you...it's your duty as an American.
don't make it easy and expected to let law enforcement into your space

if you agree to a search, they'll usually take you up on it. If you don't it's more of a pain in the ass for them and they have shit to do...your chances of getting away without a search are the same.

Sorry to hear about search . Because Detriot labs had problems , Evidence is sent to state police labs . So depends on state will depend on discovery . Could be a OTC supplement . The physicians desk reference is a good source for looking up prescription drugs . Good luck

I believe general population knows not to let police search there properties . There is also probable cause that doesn't require permission . Then we all know the Police never lie . Then again if you have nothing to hide then a search is not intimidating . I believe a couple pills might just be a misdemeanor , depends on discovery . I just hope there not going to use those pills for a search warrant for your home .
My house was drug raided . They tore up everything . looked like I had a tornado inside my house . My disabled son had a 1/4 ounce of canabis . He since got his marijuanna card from the state . Never the less the police stated the obtained 2 grams of weed from trash they got from in front of our house . Used that to get a search warrant . Anyone knows drug dealers don't throw out there goods . Then they wrote up report stating they came to door and wife let them in . Truth was they came in front and back like a swat raid . Never said they had search warrant . Just guns drawn , pointing yelling to get down . handcuffed everyone . Separated everyone and started questioning and intimidation . Son ended up with misdemeanor drug possession .
