simply put, how tall are you in comparison to your parents??? they say that the most you can grow is the average of the 2 plus 5 inches.. well hell i beat the system im 5' 9.5 with parents 5'1 and 5' 2.5. has anybody else "beat the system" so to speak lol, or are you a cursed midget

Same, my grandpa was like 6'5" and I'm barely 6. Imagine if your theory was opposite, and we were all perpetually becoming midgets.

my mothers 5'7" and from the pictures I've seen of my dad he's prolly about 6'. I myself am 6'. I do believe that with these results the mythbusters would call this one BUSTED!

This is true but it's gonna be more accurate with taller parents/children then with the shorter.Considering the average height is prolly 5'10" to 6' that five inch play is a lot. There's not a lot of guys walking around over 6'5".

My buddys mom is 5'6" and his dad is 6'3". My buddy is 6'5" so without a calculator that has to be right on the edge of being over 5" difference from the parents average.

^^^ not exactly... his theory states that two five foot parents children will not be over 5'5" and two six foot parents children could not grow over 6'5"

Everyone on my Dads side of the family are pretty much short arses, I dont think anyone is over 6 foot. However, everyone on my Mum side, especially the guys, are all 6 foot and over.

I got the crap end of genetics in my family. Everyone is 6'2" or taller and 275 to 300 pounds and my father is 6'1" and 175. I got that end of it but I am 210 and 6'1" and still gettin bigger.
