This is true but it's gonna be more accurate with taller parents/children then with the shorter.Considering the average height is prolly 5'10" to 6' that five inch play is a lot. There's not a lot of guys walking around over 6'5".

My buddys mom is 5'6" and his dad is 6'3". My buddy is 6'5" so without a calculator that has to be right on the edge of being over 5" difference from the parents average.

Everyone on my Dads side of the family are pretty much short arses, I dont think anyone is over 6 foot. However, everyone on my Mum side, especially the guys, are all 6 foot and over.

I got the crap end of genetics in my family. Everyone is 6'2" or taller and 275 to 300 pounds and my father is 6'1" and 175. I got that end of it but I am 210 and 6'1" and still gettin bigger.
