    What would be your SHTF gun? if there was an all out riot?

    What gun would you go to as your SHTF gun?
    Only 1 pistol & 1 rifle and has to be able to carry

    What would they be?


    1) Glock 19
    2) .458 socom/AR

    and why?

    1) great follow up shots and lots of ammo
    2) it will send everybody running or drop them in there tracks

    I would take the AK over anything...the nice thing about the AK is it is going to fire and it has the one shot knock down that you need in a riot....M-4 is a nice weapon dont get me wrong it has gotten me out of some shit but the AK IMO is a far better weapon...the US really need to go with the 7.62 and get ride of the rabbit gun..\\

    that would be great to have but i am afraid i would freak out in rush hour traffic and vaporize everyone. lol.

    As for defending the homestead... in california you are so limited to what you can own... .45s and shotguns will have to do the trick... but me and the other dudes in my building have kind of like a militia and a security plan if things really hit the fan, like a major earthquake and civil unrest.

    is i was going to get the 7.62 it would be a 308 which is the AR-10

    i had a ak for a short while but wasnt my style, it was a yugo
    this pic was my ar-15 with 24" bullbarrel i built,
    300yrds i was taking each finger off
    got kicked out of the range that day cause i got tired of shooting paper targets, so i was cutting the metal frames in half

    In a riot I have always preferred to break the nearest window and tie glass to my hand so it won't fall out, unless of course I have my shower shoes and can whip my piece out of it. Never really had the option to have a gun, but what do I know?

    not knowing as much about firearms as i would like to i did see on a documentary that the AK would fire even after being in the mud...thats impressive

Reducing the recoil to less kick than a 4/10 shotgun... and and and and IT IS CHAMBERED IN 50 BMG !! COME ON.. YOU CAN SNIPE FROM A MILE OUT... AND MAKE A MUTHAFVCKERS HEAD POP OFF HIS BODY LIKE ONE OF THOSE BIG WHITEHEAD TYPE PIMPLES YOU GET WHEN YOU ARE 15... or an arm.. leg... hell even a hit in the torso might separate your body from you lower extremities ...
