What gun would you go to as your SHTF gun?
Only 1 pistol & 1 rifle and has to be able to carry
What would they be?
1) Glock 19
2) .458 socom/AR
and why?
1) great follow up shots and lots of ammo
2) it will send everybody running or drop them in there tracks

I would take the AK over anything...the nice thing about the AK is it is going to fire and it has the one shot knock down that you need in a riot....M-4 is a nice weapon dont get me wrong it has gotten me out of some shit but the AK IMO is a far better weapon...the US really need to go with the 7.62 and get ride of the rabbit gun..\\

that would be great to have but i am afraid i would freak out in rush hour traffic and vaporize everyone. lol.
As for defending the homestead... in california you are so limited to what you can own... .45s and shotguns will have to do the trick... but me and the other dudes in my building have kind of like a militia and a security plan if things really hit the fan, like a major earthquake and civil unrest.

In a riot I have always preferred to break the nearest window and tie glass to my hand so it won't fall out, unless of course I have my shower shoes and can whip my piece out of it. Never really had the option to have a gun, but what do I know?

i had the underfolder, didnt like it, i couldnt aim, everytime i put my cheeck to the rail, aimed and fired, oh fuk, felt like some was hitting the metal with a tire iron, sold that fuker for a nice mark up

I was curiouse to see what you would pick pig, and Im suprised I wouldnt use 55.6 IE any type of m4 m16 ar-15 all shoots 5.56 and in a panic time people would have basic issue amo, green tip which is a terrible round its ment for AP (armor piercing) but the 5.56 77 grain is not bad its alot better for killing people.
I would stick with as a rifle a 7.62 And Say a AK-47 because rounds are dirt cheep everywhere takes a miracle of god for it not to shoot, apposed to your standard US military assault rifles who like to jam even when clean. And Id would stick with my 9 mil XD for my Handgun

AND MAKE A MUTHAFVCKERS HEAD POP OFF HIS BODY LIKE ONE OF THOSE BIG WHITEHEAD TYPE PIMPLES YOU GET WHEN YOU ARE 15... or an arm.. leg... hell even a hit in the torso might separate your body from you lower extremities ...
