In all honesty would a mosquito be any different due to an influx of test? Would something happen to the mosquito at all or would it just take the blood and fly away?

The male mosquito is much larger and does not bite. You should still kill it though to prevent it from mating with the female. Also, mosquitos love standing water (sitting in an old tire, etc.) so get rid of the tires laying around your yard. Please. Do your part to help reduce their population.
