so my friend comes back from Finnland, after spending a whol year there, and i like her. we hung out a bit and(been back now 8 days but left) we talked about a relationship and decided to wait. but as we talked more and more it turned out that i liked her a lot, but than realized she end up hurting me. so today i was texting her and i told her that idk what to think that in a way im trying to avoid talking to her, cause i dont want my hopes crushed right? than shes all like whatever. im sick of you and your sick of me. and im like ok. so than she sends me text saying sorry for what she said, that she cant be the girl i want. and she hopes when we have things straightened out we can be friends.

what do i say to that?

You're setting yourself up for a situation where you're always gonna be feeling needy and insecure and like the girl just isn't reciprocating the same level of attraction for you.
