for all computer users, firefox is BLAZING fast
so i just downloaded firefox so that i could see the erin andrews tape on a certain website. and i gotta say firefox 3.5 is SUPER fast compared to internet explorer by microsoft. so for anyone with explorer that wants a faster internet browser, firefox 3.5 is the way to go!!

Lets see....I'm using dsl which makes pages open at a pretty acceptable rate. Do I really need to for pages to open another .025 seconds faster and make myself believe this will make searching the internet that much more enjoyable? Nah, no sense in fixing something that isn't broken.

ive got comcast cable internet. a page for me to load probably takes 2-4 seconds. but the firefox is just about instant, i dont know why the IE was so much slower, but the fox is considerably faster. im sure theres others out there that have the same problem.

firefox is indeed more secure than IE and faster. Google chrome is faster as I believe it incorporates the use of more than one core from the CPU processor. So if you have a dual core CPU it uses both cores.
This is just from what i was told from a friend so dont flame if its incorrect.
I personally use Firefox due to being a bit more secure than IE, plus you can customise its looks and make it look nice and sexy

firefox vs IE
I unterstand you feeling towards firefox. It is set up to be secure.
But, you can set up IE to be just as secure, takes time and effort.
But, if you do not watch what you are doing , surfing "bad" sites, you can still pick up malicious software.
I can tell you first hand

IE8 for me and have been using forever. I have used all other browsers and I still love IE. I have also found IE to be safe and effective for my needs.

Ah, I love Firefox. I've been using Firefox since '05.
Well, I initially have been using it since 2005. But the computer
I used before I got mine had it so I used it in 2005 a lot too. I'd
have to say it's almost faster than Google Chrome.
Chrome is the best, only because the Add-Ons:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/
Customizable skins, etc.
I use Safari sometimes for HTML, but Chrome is the fastest.
Overall, I prefer Firefox as it's over-all user friendly, and fast..

Firefox is better for Facebook. Internet Explorer seems to disconnect sometimes which sucks when you are chatting.

You guys need to check out the media stream feautures with Flock. Also the Facebook people bar is awesome too. You can have FB on one side, media stream on the top of bar and multi-tab windows of various stuff going on... Flock really brings a whole new dynamic to the internet browsing for those who are little tech savvy.
