    Any Coin Collectors around?

I am looking to sell a coin I have had for awhile now. It is a 2000 Australian Lunar Coin (Dragon). It is going for $2,200 on Ebay and another for $1,800+

I would like to sell it but not sure how to go about it really? Sounds stupid I know but I should take it to a local place for appraisel first?

    It looks like this

Would be interested in hearing how one goes about this properly.

Essentially isn't it just an ounce of gold? Since it's part of a set I would think you'd be able to get more for it if you sold it to a person rather than a dealer. A friend of mine sold two Gold American Buffalo coins last year for about $1800. I'll ask him tonight how he went about it.
