    Cool Facial hair

    Hello every1.
I was trying to post the following on the spa board, but haven't gotten any responses and it's been a long while.

    SO,

    here goes

My bday is coming up, and I'd like an alternative to razors, one that cuts as close to a razor is needed.

Also, maybe some add ons like beard trimmer etc.

Any1 know of anything good? (I have sensitive skin, and to rub my face with electric shavers might not be the best idea, but if it does the job quickly (a hair cutting tool perhaps?)

    Thanks!
    Tobias

ok what the ****......I just shaved against the grain for a close shave....and my after shave is missing. I swear. I have been gone for a month or so from my apartment, and I think the maintainance guys stole it. just like they stole my goddamn broom.

Listen to this Gillette is releasing a laser shaver in 2010 or around that time.

    "Non-Bleeding Edge
Making mincemeat of the Gillette Mach 3, Light Solutions' Laser Razor dispenses with sharpened steel entirely and smoothes your beard or body with a solid-state semiconductor laser. To use it, you apply a cooling gel - just like shaving cream - and shave as usual. The lightshaver's near-infrared beam penetrates your skin to make all your stubble fall out in about two days, while temporarily stunting hair follicles to delay future growth. The result is a shave so close, it'll last a couple of months. "

This is the electic razer I use. It's a wet + dry one, plus it has moisturisercream that comes out from inside the 2 top razer blades. It makes a real close shave, and I don't have any problems with skin irritaion.

I Use it every day in the shower after the gym.

I'm thinking of getting one like cfiler's.......I'm not sure if it will cause irritation on *me*?

    Razors are a steal!!!!!!!!!
I know ppl that use 5 blade razors....with a little vibrating motor.

What about that thing Billy Mays (the popular salesman, RIP) was advertising, the one that sharpens blades so you never have to buy new ones again (or 100x sharpening per blade). I don't want this because usually you get what you pay for, and I'm sure it's a haven for bacteria.

    Thoughts?

I have sensitive skin and the electric razors are horrible. You dont need a 5 blade razor. I use 2 blade disposables, the bag of 50 cost me like 15 bucks and last me forever.

r u talking about the ones you throw away after one usage?
right now I use mach3 turbo
I go with the grain first, then against

Yea, I once tried the electric machines, and I'd have to smudge my face to get the hair off. I ended up looking like a tomato.

I don't want a bag of 50 for my bday LOL
