    Body Fat Scales

I was thinking about picking one of these Omron scales up.. Has anyone used them? Do they give a pretty accurate BF reading?

youd be better off getting some accu-measure calipers...than the scales......apparently the scales are not accurate at all....

that was my initial reaction, but omron is a very large and well-respected company in the medical field, so i wouldn't think they would put out something that doesn't work. i would hope....

    does anyone has first-hand experience?

Is it the digitsl one that you hold on to like a video game controller??? If so, stay away!! They variate likem 5-20% between readings! Everything affects it! Body temp, If you are sweaty, just worked out, just got done etc. etc.

They are consistent if used first thing in the morning. They aren't that accurate. But you will be able to see if you were improving. I personally wouldn't buy one. BTW I sold them for years in my stores.
