I have boycotted Madden since they bought the rights from NFL, as well as MLB 2K games. EA Sports made the better baseball game, and 2K made the better football game, but EA bought the rights of NFL, and 2K bought the rights for MLB. I haven't bought any of them since this happened.

So true, NFL2K series was so ahead of its time with better graphics, presentation, etc. Hell they had mid and post game interviews WITH THE STAR! Not to mention you saw highlights of other games week by week. And as a coach you could distribute the trainings hours for individual players/offense/defense/other cores for what they would train for prior to the game (film, certain, drills, etc.) shit was extensive.

I can only imagine what the series could have been on the Xbox 360. Every year the presentation in Madden gets worse and worse and the superbowl feels like any other game "coated" in fakeness. Seriously, its FRANCHISE MODE make it extensive, I want to tell my players when they can shit and when they cant, I want good presentation in games with highlights and interviews and cut scenes and shit.

The last system I owned was Nintendo Entertainment System. I could never spend the type of money that they ask for these systems. I think it is just rediculous

Not really, people spend 500+ dollars on one steroid cycle, so why would 300 dollars out of your pocket be ridiculous for entertainment?

Shit is well worth the money, if you are into video games that is. I was raised on video games and loved them since the age of 6, so I play them whenever I have a chance.

I believe a brand new Nintendo ran about $200 back in the day, you can get a 360 with a 60GB hard drive for $300. When you take inflation into consideration there really isn't much of a difference in price

$99 then is equal to $600+ now and on top of it, I hate video games, I think they are rotting the young kids today and making them all fat little couch potatoes. On top of it I have to believe there is always something better to do with your time than sit in front of a television with a joystick and play video games for hours on end! Think of how much stuff you could get done in the amount of time you spen playing football video games
