This is the injury: I cannot bend my wrist without pain (eg forearm flexing)

You just sprained it, wrist sprains or any of that kind take awhile to heal 2-3 weeks.

Pro of what? Jerking it? Milking it? Rubbing it?

I just medicated myself (with the icy hot patch).
    I bought the walgreen's version.

So DSM/Madmatt what do you suggest?

Well since I bought the icy hot patch walgreen's brand I cannot speak for the real patch.

But once I took a look at these things they don't heat.
It's just a wrap with menthol (5% active ingredient).

I'm going to use a second one before I go out tonight.
