haha... well i guess im a nerd cause i like math and its easy LOL

anyways to the OP, i did a similar experiment when i did my cycle... didnt use the same excercises but pretty much the exact same concept... i found that my str increased roughtly 25% (from pre cycle, to post pct... it would have been higher if i did my max's i got while on cycle, but as you know str drops off duringi pct)

    Thank you very much.
    I wasn't asking much, was I.
I just needed to find a person without preconceived ideas on my being, willing to simply answer.
Better a few that nothing, I would declear.

As for BJJ trying to argue, I think he just comes across that way. I don't think he is trying to be mean to anyone.
^ Agreed. For those knocking his English... do you all speak a second language? I thought not.

Furthermore, I asked private help by pm(ing) some guys in here and some of those did not even reply to my msgs (well-mannered behaviour!).
Then I was told that my English is terrible and even if it was true (latest toefl score 560 so university access available), it is not polite to say to someone who you don't even know. Someone else wrote me my grammar is not correct but then when I asked to correct it no-one came along...
Did you know all of these things before judging my conduct!
So don't tell me I am the one who wants to argue, I am a person who is not willing to prostrate to anyone, just because asked to!
But if I see I am wrong I am the first who accept it since I already apologized to those who deserve it and whose comments to my posts were wrongly taken from my side.

Regarding my thread of strength, again your example shows what I wanted to know. Math is not an opinion, it's a fact but it is also fundamental to figure out the answer we receive from it.
Math is my life, I work as a sole trader engineer and I deal with numbers, charts and statistics every day, 250 days a year.

So, the 50% increase of both guys of your examples is what I needed to know from them and they would have answered both 50%. The fact that one is lifting more than another means nothing in my research since I am only looking for overall percentage strength increase and not strength increase itself related to each genetics. In that case my research would not be appropriate even though I have a simplex algorithm ready for that.
But of course, since so far only 19 people decided to answer and among those, 5 decided not to answer at all; only 14 guys among all make think, since I am not a stupid human being, that I would waste my time going again in that direction, though very interesting for all, I would say.

At the end I tell you, if you think I am here to argue you are just following those that under my menial point of view, don't like to have in a board a thinking person, ready to learn and therefore to ask, with a little knowledge on his own in a few fields among the vastness.
OMG, really wateva, my point wasnt about the issue of everyone argueing with u, i said that becuase u keep asking WHY everyone seems to argue with u, and i tried to explain WHY

as for my point, forget the mathematics, MY POINT WAS THAT using percentages as an indicator and measurment of strength increase was POOR, becuase its missleading becuase the STRONGER u already are, the smaller effect a strength gain will have in influencing a percentage variable

DO U SEE WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY? u keep telling me what u want in this post BUT u dont acknowledge what im trying to point out

what im trying to say is that ur survey is innaccurate and biast towards weaker and less developed people since their strength increases will be represented more favourably with a higher percentage then that of larger more developed guys

I was asking strength percentage related to first cycle body builders.
In fact, some experienced answered they could not remember, others answered they still had to make their very first cycle, so could not answered either.

This implicates my accuracy in formulating the thread, was correct.

I had similar results, some excercises gained more then others. Part of it was due to injuries. I am happy to say that I have kept most of my strength from my cycles, but then again I am not trying to become a powerlifter.

for ex. my bench max went up to around 305 at the end of my cycle... kept lifting afterwards and such, but like 4 months later i didnt work out as hard, did just more maintaining lifting i retained most of my strength and i gained it back alot faster when i lifted hard again...

it would be good to see if the added testosterone kept the muscle big and swole but as soon as it was gone, the size and str would diminish to the pre-cycle stats...

but then again that would have to be past ones natural limits and noone really knows for sure what they are...

    good study though...
