    Arms numb during squatting

    I make sure to breathe right and I quickly begin lose circulation to my arms, what could be causing this?

    Poor circulation or maybe pinched nerves

    If your free standing squats, then it's just a circulation issue from bending your elbows.

    Stabilizing heavy weight is difficult sometimes.

    ive tried all different angles for my arms but nothing seems to work grrr

    any pain or discomfort in the neck? I have a pinched nerve right now in my neck and when I put my rt arm forward it goes numb.

    I've seen people do squats with the bar in front of the neck rather than behind. Maybe that will help

    What kind of padding do you wrap around the bar???

    If any?

    I used to use pipe insulation and ace bandages.

    Trying to distribute the weight more evenly.

    It worked.

    Those are hack squats.

    Different from back squats.

    I do not use any padding and no pain in the neck. The bar lies across my traps

    He's talking about front squats.

    They're a little bit harder to do but may be what you need to keep your arms from going numb.

    front squats are also better for isloating quads, but they hurt my shoulders
