And it depends on your race, personality and how well you can cope living with the largest scum on earth.
A bid can go wrong from day one, a fight, lock up, another fight next week, you get jumped, a bunch of bloods wanna kill you cause your white and have a bit of money. That was basically my position.
People did not like me cause I was white and more privelaged and they knew it by the way I spoke.
Which is why my bid turned into a nightmare.
I don't speak slang, I just don't have that low class attitude a lot of prisoners do, which is why I spent my entire bid watching my back. Not to mention I was walking prey at 5' 4", 145lbs back then.
Other guys don't have to deal with that shit, so yeh they can have a smooth bid.
Mine just wasn't smooth at all. I was transfered 14 times in a 1 1/2 years, got into 2 fights, lock up once, PC once, daily threats towards me and my family just cause I wasn't black or from the ghetto.
So yeh it def depends on how well you "mix" with the population. If you're a true pos criminal, the time really won't be that bad at all cause you'll have a lot of similar people around you. If you're a mid class white boy from the burbs, your fvcked.
