I guess I was under the impression that the new multiplayer was going to be on xboxlive like halo 3... but I guess its just like an intense co-op. So I just wasted $60 to get a sh*tty game. I figured I was just let people know not to waster their money.

I'm over GoW...I've beat it on insane and played plenty of matches online. Nothing else to do. Modern Warefare 2 is gonna be bad ass.

Modern Warfare 2 will blow any online game away when it comes out, the shit I have seen so far in previews is awesome as hell. They improved almost everything and added Predator air strike which you guide in, AC-130 Gunship, ammo drop, power-perks (takes a perk and puts it on crack basically), new guns, etc.Originally Posted by Nooomoto

i don't like gears of war because of the damn 3rd person crap.....love halo cuz it's first person, that does suck ass though that there's no death match multiplayer in the new one

I did the same but I would still play it over halo. I like the one kill rounds. It makes you use a little more strategy. Hopefully modern warfare is as good as it looks.

Agreed I was deff hoping for something other than a new co-op. I honestly don't play the campaign/story mode of any game. Im pretty much online only. Working the computer isn't as much fun as working tools online.
I can't stand most 3rd person shooters, hence why I didn't like gears
MW2 does look pretty fukcin sick.
Ummmm for $60 a little more than waves of aliens... Im kinda getting bored with the same old halo3 online sh*t. I figured its been 2 or more years why not change it up a bit.

No offense, but if you don't research a product before you buy it you deserve to get ripped off.
Seriously all you would have to do is go to IGN.com and read the review (text or video) and you would find out they said this for "hardcore halo fans" and that the storyline is only 6 hours and that its not ment to be a full new title but rather an expansion and the downside was that it carried a 60 dollar price tag.

Some of us work 12 hour days and train at the gym 6 days a week and have weekend duty every other weekend. So no I didn't research it, but I went off someone elses word. Which I guess is wrong as well. I also wouldn't go as far as to say ripped off because it's really easy to return a game.

So I played ODST for a few hours yesterday with a couple friends in co-op...had a great time. It plays out like a detective story and you keep changing perspectives as you play, kinda cool. I'm not really into the Halo story but it's a good time. The "firefight" mode is cool too...exactly like "horde" in GoW.
But yeah...

You've got a point...I don't see how you could buy a bad game. I mean, companies now start talking about upcoming titles years before they hit the market. Plenty of time to do research.
