    LMAO!! Dick!

You need to reinstall your sound drivers bro. At the very very worst case scenario back up all of your files, and then proceed to reinstall your Operating System and then you'll be good to go. Factory Default baybayyyy

I fix computers for a living what brand is your computer?

basically you can go to the manufacters site and type in your specific model and download the drivers for your sound

go to google and type "your manufacture support" and youll find a driver download section

like hp support or gateway support and so forth

agreed. I also fix comps. . . Is your sound card on board or stand alone. If on board. Do you have the driver cd. If stand alone do you have the cd that came with sound card. If all else fails. Do as above.

Marcus, do you know how to access your Restore Points? Most PC's have them, and they are at something like 3 week intervals. If you can access a date BEFORE you accidently uninstaled those drives and reboot from there, you will ostensibly be restarting your comp as it was on that date.

Im not 100% sure if that will work but it's worth a try.

Restore Points are for if you have problems. Like if you accidently change a configuration and you cant undo it. The PC will basically recreate your computer as it was on the date of that Restore Point. So technically, it will recreate your PC with the drivers. I hope so anyway.

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...emrestore.mspx read this.

If you do this, make sure anything important saved you might have on your comp between now and the restore point is backed up otherwise you'll lose it.

    Hope this helps.

Im not 100% sure of that. All i know is, is that it will restore your comp back to the exact settings it was on the day of the restore point.

    Glad to hear it worked.
Dont forget about the restore though, it can be a life saver sometimes and it probably would have worked; the other think you could have done is look at your system properties and it would have shown your sound card was x out in red. All you would have had to do it right click on it and have it search for drivers on you HD or online. It's a fairly easy fix.

Did you have a separate audio card ? Not all PC's will do that if they are using motherboard audio.

The system restore isnt working or activated, the box for it to stop working is ticked, so i couldnt do that, Do you think i should activate this system? wont it take space up on my computer memory?

They usually say that the problem of the issue is the "thing" between the keyboard and chair.
