Just a general question...
I just got a kick ass job offer, and heres the thing: The hiring manager knows about my pending charges and is being really cool about this. He says that, if it says 'conviction pending' that they can't hire me. My next court date is november 17th and the prosecution has already written out that I go to these narcotics classes which is cool with me. I've got like a 14 day window here.
Do you guys think my attorney would be able to get me in sooner than that so I can enter this damn plea of 'guilty' and then start these classes? If I can do that, it won't show up as 'pending conviction' on my background check and then I can have this job! This is so damn time sensitive. Fvck. This should be the prosecutions and my attorneys wet dream. It saves them both time and the prosecution gets their conviction rate up
