that sh*t is not just happening in Italy, In South Africa its a normal everyday occurrence mate, thats why 80% of the guns out here are illegal. And little shops like your cafe's etc have security guards standing in the front with R5 machine guns.

I know what you mean man but the point is that also a place which used to be "safe" is not anymore. BJJ, do you notice that the majority of crimes/murders in Italy take place in the South? I always heard that Northern Italy was more wealthy and therefore less crime existed there. I mean areas like Milano, Venizia, and Trieste are safer than areas like Roma, Napoli, or Sicili. Is this true?

Italy is divided into two parts, from Roma up and from Napoli down.
The Northern part is the rich one where industries and manufactures are located while the Southern is left more...
To answer your question yes, if we speak about things like in the video.
In any case, Rome is a city on its own since the Italian government and The Vatican are there located.
The video has been shown over the net by the police in the hope of finding the murderous, who killed in day light and in a public place without even covering his face! Nobody there in Napoli is going to cooperate with the police to arrest him, everybody is just scared. In the Southern, omertà is well spread. Such a thing could not happen in Rome because the killer never ever would have acted in that way.

I'm not fluent in Italian. What was the motive of that murder? For fun? It looked like a professional hit...not a robbery
I mean the lady that was standing there just walked away like it was no big deal at all. Reminded me of what happened to that guy in casino when he walked out of court.

It was a professional one, yes.
In the second part of the movie you see a guy outside the bar just going away and that was the signal for the one inside to come out and shoot.
The motive is unknown yet but the person killed was not "a good man".
The lady just walked away you are right and other people after that (the video was cut) just went inside the bar like if nothing happened at all, with that person already dead on the ground and the blood spreading all around his head.
As I said, omertà .
However, I cannot blame those people.
I would if there was a child there instead of a criminal.

I did security out at best buy in Indianapolis for awhile. I actually got to implement a new policy that people left 3 at a time after closing......
The reason was because a girl left one night and that best buy is in an area with alot of hispanic crime.
Poor girls throat was cut....we found her body in the dumpster.

a couple of cowokers of mine were talking about some dangerous places to live. We came to the conclusion that the most beutiful places - Southern italy jamacia columbia brazil were the most violent. A friend of mine from jamacia said he witnessed two men in his village get killed by men with machetes. they literally hacked at this man untill he was dead. graphic

I have stories right here the good ol US of A friends! I saw a guy in the aryan brotherhood have to take out a guy he had spoken for. He stabbed the recruit 36 times, the guy finally fell from a loss of blood and when he did the guy stood over the top of him and cut his throat from trap to trap, then cut his belly open and stuck his whole hand up in the belly and put the knife inside the guy. Walked over and laid down and put his hands behind his back so they could come in an cuff him. The guy the got killed was David Massey, the guy that killed him was James Barfield.
I got lots of those stories (maybe ten?) eyewitness only no video. They dont let you own video cameras in Texas Prisons! It does something to you to see that kind of violence up close and personal. Side not, Barfield was due to parole in 10 days, he now has life. Dedicated to death.

Since the above story was so graphic in nature I figure I'll tell mine......
5 years ago, was the worst night of my life hands down. A friend and I were leaving the casino in st louis at 3AM. We had just had an amazing night, I won like $1200 on roulette being bold. We're going to our car and this guy bumps into me. I politely say, "Excuse me bro, sorry". The guy looks at me with his two buddies and says, "Did I tell you to fvcking touch me dude? I didn't say you could fvcking touch me." with this real demented serious look on his face. I'm like oh yeah, my bad there FABIO. I started to walk off and they began to follow...My friend was always down to back me up so that was no big deal.
I turn around and at this point we're getting close to being cornered and I said, 'You're about to have a real bad night dude, just go home you're obviously not from here." The guy gets up in my face and I tell him I'm gonna count to 3....
1...2...I cheated. I didn't punch him, or kick him. Those are always expected. A headbutt comes completely out of left field. A perfect arc, right into this guys nose. It pulped, and I think I broke his cheekbones too, he was out cold.
..........Then shit got real ****ed up. The smart guy ran off, but this one asshole, (I think like in his 30s?!) pulls a switchblade!! so here am I this 20 year old kid scared to death against a guy with a switchblade. My friend goes behind him and this guy turns his back on me and I reacted. I stuck my middle finger in his ear and plunged my thumb completely into his eye socket with him writhing and screaming in pain.....The cops showed up, and this asshole actually tried to press charges on me. Thank GOD there were cameras and the odds were against us.

Once I was in Oakland, I used to live if SF, and was standing waiting the bus in front of a college.
I was alone and was dark when a car, a very bad one I would say, just pulled over, the black window went down and a huge black guy showed me his gun saying "I hate white people, don't hang around here anymore".
I'll never forget his face, he was serious and was meaning it.
I raised my head when the car ran away and I saw a sign "Mills College" which I never forget since then.

That's a good thing, Im sure it has stopped a lot of criminals from getting guns since we all know criminals buy and register guns like any law abiding citizen would, right?
I really never got how/why people think by making guns illegal or near impossible for normal citizens to own will keep the criminals from getting them. Do you think ANY of alkida care about if it's illegal to own guns or not?
If you ever check the statistics you will see the states who have restricted gun ownership the violent crimes with guns has gone UP... Hmmm it couldn't be because the criminals know there is no recourse since their victims obviously wont have a way to defend themselves...
