Unhappy off topic once again: burner help!

My girlfriend has a "MITSUMI 48-CR XCTE" cd burner.

it came with "record now" burning software, i want to burn VCD's and ISO's but I dont think theres an option for that on the program. So i downloaded nero and it wasnt compatible, so then i tried Easy CD creator 5 and its not compatible either! help please!

btw - the hardware profiles says it works fine and the program it came with works fine with it.

nero should be compatible. any of the bigger programs should be compatible with the cd-burner.

how much did she pay for this burner ?

nero will autodetect the burner's when it starts up.

what version do you have ??? try downloading the nero update at the website www.ahead.com - search around for it somewhere.

i had one of those burners back in the day and nothing except maybe cdr win would work with that burner.

    Im hoping its way different.

Try looking for flash updates at the companies website. they should also list programs that are compat with their hardware.
