How do you feel after 2 or 3 days?

Do you guys get restless if you take 2 days off working out? If I take more than one day off I start to feel like Im cheating myself or missing something LOL

I do take time off but it always changes. Some weeks it will be 2 days split up, sometimes it's 2 days in a row and once in a while it's 3 or 4 days in a row but I start to go stir crazy and feel like Im shrinking massively. LOL

It doesn't happen often but like last week, I missed 5 days in a row due to schedule and Halloween. Seriously it takes me 3 days to get ready for Halloween and I still did not get set up 100%, I needed 4 more hours to finish Yes going to the gym would have really screwed things up for me and a lot of disappointed kids. I didnt do it last year due to work and I had a LOT of kids and parents say how much they missed it last year.

So, after 5 days off I felt like I was missing a friend but also I did not want to fall into that habit of not having a daily/weekly routine. I know even if I dont feel like going to the gym I always feel better after I go.

I took 3 days off this week and I feel like crap. First time I've done this in a long time. I'll be back tonight tho and I'll prolly be weak as all hell.

I feel like I am missing something too, but sometimes the rest is really much needed and feels great.

I think the reason why I feel a bit less solid on off-days is because I miss the pump! Also, I haven't perfected my diet by any means for non-workout days. I need to learn more.

I feel like a loser when I don't work out. 2 days is the most I can go without doing something.

Usually, I take a break for two days, no more than three.
In any case, when resting from the gym I do bjj so my mind is always "busy" on different aspect of training and this helps me a lot.

I was at the doctor last year for a shoulder/bicipital tendon issue. He told me to stop working out. I just started laughing, as if that was an option.

People that don't listen to doctors are idiots. Yes they might over react a little bit but they are only looking out for your health. They could careless what you look like on the outside most are worried about how you body is doing on the inside.

hahahahahaha I hear you. My doctor said the same thing for my torn rotator cuff, take a month off lifting to see how it heals but really they want to do arthroscopic surgery to clean it up and I would have to take a couple months off.

NOPE, not this time. I said it doesn't hurt if I lift light so I will live with it for now. I said I go on vacation in 5 months so I will take 2 weeks off (maybe) and see how it goes.

I think things are healing, it doesn't hurt much anymore unless I do incline bench.. I just do light incline and it seems OK/not to much pain.

Ha yeah I have a forearm strain that keeps me up at night esp after working bi's but won't take time off even though I have noticably better gains after a 2 or 3 week break every 6 months or so.

Personally, I don't take more than 2 two days off. Like most, I become phychologically distressed and feel as if im withering away. Kind of strange because Ive never been this obssesive with any other thing in my life! Hmm, bizarre.

Anyhow, Ive read that if you work out a muscle group atleast once a week, it will maintain size/strength. So I've read...
