Seems to me that Flagg and others are looking into this pretty objectivley. What makes it even more complicated when analyzing murder or killing is to also analyze how many humans have reacted based on their conviction or love. There are countless stories where many have laid their life down when it would be normal to fight back and in many cases they had the means to (people/support). You can say it is cowardice that caused them to do this, but when looking into it even further...many use to be killers/murderers and all of the sudden stop. This in itself also brings a variable into the whole survival mechanism in humans to protect something or instinctive reactions. According to popular theory these folks/genes would have been eliminated along time ago in the process.
To me it is a very, very controversial and a complicated subject. there is a battle of wills or morals or ethics or powers or rights or wrongs or something in the universe or at least on our planet...imo.
