    Skate Wing fish

Just cooked a filet of Skate wing, it is the most delicious fish i have ever had. It has more *****s than salmon, and when cooked right, the white meat pulls off the bone like pulled pork. Tastes similar to a scallop. Freakin delicious. Only 3$ Per pound at whole foods and AMAZING.
    Anyone else ever tried?

Not yet but next time I'm at whole foods I'll pick some up. Btw, how long and what temp did you cook it at? Never cooked fish before.

I pan seared it for 3 minutes the tossed it in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes. Its one of the only fish that the longer you cook it, the more tender it is, but there is obviously a time limit.

Thanks, gonna give it a try this weekend. Do you marinate or season the fish?

I just called Whole foods they don't stock the skate wing filet, guess I'll just go with the salmon.
