What are the best and brightest headlights?

I have been looking around but I have no idea what to compare these to. Does anyone have a good brand I can look at?

Car headlights. I have been asking around and a buddy told me about HID conversions. They burn so hot that they are slightly blue. Much like a lot of european cars. He's going to get me a conversion kit for 80.

Be careful a some aftermarket bulbs could damage your headlight lens cover from excessive heat. If you want nice lights go H.I.D.

I'm going for the HID 6000K. I thought about the 8000K but I have seen some that looked purple, not blue and white. Thanks for the help guys.

3000k HID's have the most light output currently available...which is why all LeMans cars are equipped with them. The rule is, the lower the (k)elvin, the more light. If you're looking for a "stock" looking color go with 4300k-4600k. The higher you go on the kelvin scale, the less light output there is.

But they lack the cool blue look of the 6000K

True, I left that out. I like to combo, and it seems that the 6000k fits what I am looking for.

6k is diamond white, 8k ice blue, 10k blue. and so on.
    stay with 5k or 6k.
I deal with HID kits. Also get a relay so you dont burn out the connectors. HID's require 85 watt for the first split second for the ignitors in the ballast.

HID bulbs are gas filled that require ballast to run.
hense the xenon name. All hid's are xenon lights accept for those cheap regular bulbs that have gas in them as well as traditional filament. Fail to see the point of those.
