All of my PR's in the weight room have been set while listening to As I Lay Dying... they really get me raging. Disturbed, Rammstein, Slip Knot, etc.. are always legit. When the heavy rock gets old l'll usually throw on some Armin Van burren or Deadmau5. Rap doesn't really do it for me most of the time.

The radio at the gym usually plays miley Cyrus, jonas brothers, some britney, and maybe a little micheal Jackson. The jonas brothers just get you pumped like no other.

omfg. I know. What the hell is up with that bs?????????????

I'm a big fan of All That Remains.
Two Weeks and Forever in your Hands are a couple of great songs by them.

    Pantera.
    As I Lay Dying.
    Devil Driver.
    Killswitch Engage...
    Dimmu Borgir.

There's a ton of stuff. CHIMARA.

Breaking Benjamin (some of their stuff)

    Oh and the rocky theme

If you like As I Lay Dying, check out Austrian Death Machine. It's a solo project.

He use to be so fast and powerful.....it's like some of that was in fast motion. Amazing hand speed and head movement. I've always thought when he turned into a slugger, he started loosing. he learned to just rely on his power.

As far as music. I can't really listen to much metal.

Eminem does it for me, certain songs, some DMX too.

I think everyone has to have Pantera I generally listen to them all the time when lifting. That or Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Obituary, Morbid Angel, Slayer, Slipknot, AC/DC anything that is quick imo. some rap is good.
