The tv companies love slating aas!!!!

There have been so many shows where anabolic steroids are being given a bad name!

The TV shows do not tell how steroid sides can be avoided!

With so much info (books, web etc) why don't they do research into the different AAS and ancillaries?

The tv companies are only interested in ratings that is why!

In Law and Order Special Victims Unit there was two episodes where AAS were mentioned!

In one case aboy hit a woman because he was on AAS - the detectives said being on anabolic steroids was like being bipolar because of the hormone balance and also that AAS were addictive and you have withdrawal symptoms once u r of them! NO MENTION OF CYCLES, PCT OR AGGRESSION DEPENDANT ON THE TYPE OF PERSON YOU ARE! WHAT AAS WERE NOT SPECIFIED NOR WAS THE TYPE OR HOW THEY WERE TAKEN!

In the other episode nandrolone decanoate was mantioned and the detectives said it cause aggression and paranoia - NANDROLONE DOES NOT CAUSE AGGRESSION AND PARANOIA!

In Neighbours AAS were mentioned briefly three times!

Time 1: Tad grassed up a fellow Australian Fottball player in his time because he was taking anabolic steroids - Tad got chucked out for not being a team member and snitchin!

Time 2 - Tad got let back into the team beacuse the AAS user was found to be on EPO and having it in his possession!

Time 3 - Boyd Holland was into bodybuilding and got hold of some Human Growth Hormone from a bodybuilder at the gym and from the HGH he developed a brain tumor - the doc did not say whether or not the tumor was there before Boyd took the HGH or the HGH made it increase in size! AT THE END THE CAUSE OF THE TUMOR WAS NOT FOUND! AAS DO NOT CAUSE BRAIN TUMORS UNLESS ONE IS ALREADY PRESENT AND IF THAT IS THE CASE THEY MAKES IT BIGGER/WORSE!

In the now defunkt Brookside Mick Johnson was also a keen bodybuilder and got hold of some oral AAS and got very angry and lashed out at his son Leo - THEY DID NOT SAY WHAT THE ORAL AAS WAS AND FORGOT TO MENTION THAT AGGGRESSION IS DEPENDANT ON CHARACTER!

In Family Guy AAS were briefly mentioned in a joking way!

Part of the reason they don't research them is because no one really researches them, due in part to them being illegal. It's like saying marijuana kills.

It is because it is an easy target. Like anything that the world doesn't understand or have the paitence to understand they will redicule it until it dies well at least they will try to.

the other organization that said they shouldn't be banned was the AMA (american medical association). I think the media likes to use steroids as a "buzz word" to create fear and hysteria. They don't just pick on steroids , they pick on a ton of different things. I doubt they all get together in a giant room at a big round table like a bunch of super-villains trying figure out a way to destroy superman and talk about how to make steroids look bad. They don't know anything about steroids, they don't use steroids, they don't really care about steroids, so they have no problem spreading false facts and exaggerated claims about steroids in order to have a compelling news story. The media uses steroids as a tool to create dramatic news, just like they did many years ago with marijuana. I don't really think that their objective is to hurt us, but many of us get pissed and feel like they are out to get us.
