Well, it entry level training programs (boot camp, basic training) you will be on a low calorie diet. Maybe 1900 calories a day. You get three meals a day. You will definately lose weight. Why not stop early and save your gear for future use?

Impossible. Unless you started to cycle at a weight of 130. Then you went back to your natural weight. They starve you... but not that bad. They feed you three times a day. You can get the calories... you just have to look for them. Eat junkfood as well. I seriously doubt that you lost 75 lbs. I started cycling at 232. No matter what, I will never let myself fall below my natural weight. I would die literally if I lost 75lbs in 9 weeks.

OP, just eat your ass off... even if you hate the food. I hate salad, but I ate it for the calories. I hate cookies, but I ate them for the calories. Just eat everything that you can get your hands on, and do not be afraid to ask for your buddies' food if they aren't going to eat it

Im gonna be in the same situation in jan. My start weight is 155 from when i first started lifting. Im right around 205 right now. I expect to be around 165-170 when i get out...easily. I just did a cut for 14 weeks and went from 218-172 in that time frame. And have bulked back up to 205 like my avatar right now. So i dont really doubt that 75lbs isnt an unreal amount..

I knew a guy that shipped for boot camp at 260 and came home 180. but he also had to spend 2months in fat camp before he started basic and was 5'8'' no muscle.

so he lost 80pounds in four months. give or take. but he was so over weight that it was possible. but still i'm sure wasn't 100% healthy to lose that much weight that fast. but as fat as he was its better that he lost the weight.

but 205 to 130 seems like a shit load because 205 is not massive even if you are 5'5''..

me personally i went from 202 to 182 after AIT, so over 4 months.

when i went to boot i weighed 185 and came out @ 130. you get 3 meals a day but half of the time you get like 30 sec to eat. you learn to eat very fast. you might get a few more seconds if your closer to the front of the line going into the chow hall. if your a guide or squad leader then expect to only get a couple bites in before you got to leave. are you going to SOI or MCT after boot?
