avatars--
hey bros im a little stuck here, im trying to insert an avatar and it says it is too large it can only handle 150/150 pixels.the avatar doesnt look too big but i heard you can shrink them.if any of you know how to do this please HELP! gingincoos avatar sit is pretty good anyone have any others?----peace

not too hard, even do a search on the internet for avatars. just use something like MS Paint to resize your picture if you want to use one you already have. it's under the Stretch / Skew properties

hmm... went back and played with resize and still said its too big ,pixel can only handle 150/150.so i tried another site tried to insert new avatar(same thing).wtf should this be this hard!

If you have Adobe, just resize the pic, and instead of uses inches or cm's, use pixels and type in 150 by 150. If not, just re-size or crop the avtar using Paintshop.

save your pic as a jpeg...i had the same problem...you're probably at 150 pixels but the size is over 200000 bytes...hopes this helps.

If you have any more problems attach the pic in a post and I'm sure someone here will resize it for you.

this is not working bros and im getting frustrated.why is this so difficult? luckily i dont quit easily. ive spent almost two hours on this got absoluteley nowhere wtf .am i stupid? need to resize images from jpeg format, how do i get jpeg

and if you don't know how to attach a pic, well now we've got problems....
j/k.....click the Browse Button below the message window (not the quick reply box, have to hit Post Reply), and then locate your pic. hit submit - it'll take a little time to upload the file depending on how big it is.

Damn KeyMastur that was quick reply, but it said the file was not a valid jpeg file. What do I need to do? Thanks for the help.

That's b/c when you right click and save, it's saving the file as a BMP (bitmap) file. Open that in paint or adobe or whatever you use for images, and then goto File > Save As > and change the file to a Jpeg file
