In these scenarios they is only two ways of answering the question, they will test your integrity

Please write down the first thing you would do in each scenario without any tricky answer's and state why:

1, Your walking past a lake what is frozen due to the cold weather, you spot a man walking near the middle of the lake when suddenly he falls through the ice and starts splashing around and then goes under the ice, you have only a few seconds to decide your course of action,

he is over 200yrds away from the banking,
there are no safety rings or ropes,
your battery on your mobile phone is dead,
no one else is around for support,

What would be your next course of action??


2, You are on your final warning at work and you get caught using the internet for personal use which is a disciplinary offence, you know your going to get sacked and your boss calls you into her office, your boss is female, 50yrs old, married and is over weight. She offer's you an opportunity to keep your job but its has one drawback, you have to have sex with her once only for a whole night,

Your happily married and have never cheated on your wife,
You cant afford to be out of a job because your wife doesn't work,
No one else knows about you using the internet except your boss,

What would you do?


3, Your brother has been involved in a criminal activity were someone as been serious hurt, in your country the sentence for such activity is around 4-6 yrs, only you know that your brother was involved and you know it was a one off accident due to his criminal activity that night,

He wouldn't do anything like this again and was a one off incident,
The person who was seriously hurt didn't see your brother and would be impossible for the police to find him,
Your wife is a police officer and you are a law binding citizen,


What would you do?

Scenario 1 does not tell me how close the nearest home/business is.

I would drop to my stomach and crawl on the ice listening and looking for cracks while spreading my weight, if I got to close and felt the ice give I would retreat and leave for help. If I made it and was able to get him out I would remain on my knees and drag him backwards.

On shore I'd strip him of his clothes and give him as much of mine as possible to warm him, even using my body to give warmth (No DSM), watch for signs of shock or cardiac arrest and treat accordingly.

Scenario 2 convince the boss you will meet her later, return with recorder and record her sexual advances. Turn her into HR, take her job, PROFIT

Scenario 3
If its criminal and not accidental he knew it was illegal, turn him in.

1. I'd try to help the dude...but not at major risk to my own life. What kind of retard would walk around on a frozen lake away from any help?

1. Get help as fast as I could. I have known people to fall in the ice after someone else and die.

1-Go for help, there is no possible way to save him alone. Plus if its that cold he has a small chance at surviving even if submerged for an extended period of time.
2-No brainer, unemployment time. Cant put a price on your dignity.
3-If questioned I tell the truth but not something I would come forward with.

Scenario 1......i would do my best to help the man, even at the risk of hurting/dieing myslef...i could never live with myself if i didnt atleast try and help him. (but ill never know how id react untill it happend i could be a total wimp!!)

Scenario 2.....shes 50 and fat i wouldnt sleep with her...if im married that means ive met someone worth marrying (becasue im dead against it!) so i wouldnt chance loseing her.

Scenario 3.....i wouldnt say a word, hes my brother and id die for him.

1. I would not risk my own life to help the guy but if there was somthing i could do i would do it, if not i would go for help.

2. Would not cheat on my wife its not worth a job. I would say **** you whore, file a claim on her or whatever, and if worst comes to worst im job hunting. (My dad is my boss so im hoping i never get caught in this situation lol)

3. Dont have a brother but if my sister was in this situation i would never rat her out. If i was questioned i would have to tell the truth tho, never good to lie to the cops.
